It shocks you when you first enter this office. Disorganized. Very primitive computer infrastructure.. Cluttered office. The loan officer missing. The loan form available on the web does not match the one actually used on the field. And in today's world this is a very anachronistic office. So instead of again repeating a visit, I have identified an agent who would do the work on my behalf.
Various divisions/departments of this particular branch are spread over 3 floors of a building which makes it difficult at times for people visiting it to avail service. The authorities however keep trying to make certain changes/improvements for the better & some of the staff manning the counters are quite customer friendly.
The LIC office circumstances was good. So many counter to take policy premium.This office is just 5 minutes by walk from Laketown Jaya cinema Hall. This office situated besides hp petrol pump. The staffs are polite.

Good place for depositing premium and other LIC related works. But big queues can be a trouble for senior citizens. But please beware of one person namely Mr. Subhashish (an officer) whose office is in ground floor. Very rude and ill mannered person. Not at all fit to be called an officer.
This is a very big regional office, Located behind the Laketown Petrol Pump . This office has enough staff but they are mostly inefficient, idle type. The ground floor has agent office . You can deposit your premium here. Enough parking space is available . Claim disbursal process is very very slow.
I will request LIC Mumbai head office to help customers of basically Laketown branch. Not getting any single help and without giving help the staff used to sleep, loiter here and there behave rudely with customers.Horrible branch I have ever seen. I will request branch chief manager Mr. B.B Mondal to take some steps and help customers without insulting the customers. I want to surrender my policies only because of Laketown branch LIC officials
Terrible service. Staff is extremely arrogant and have a " I don't care " kind of attitude. Absolutely not helpful and unprofessional. They will make you take rounds in the office for fun. At the end, they know Govt will pay their salaries anyways so whats there to loose for them. Absolutely nothing.
