It's my experience, i want to say it's a one of the best hospital of India for mental. Undoubtedly and boldly you can come to here.I am 100% satisfy.
Very well maintained, hygienic and clean campus. It is the only central government runned hospital providing treatment to person suffering from various forms of mental illness in the entire north east. A huge campus indeed. The staff and doctors are very friendly and good. The treatment and medical facilities here for persons suffering from mental ailments are advanced and outstanding and are almost free.

Never had a great outlook towards goverment hospitals but this one stands out of the league, efficient polite staff very green clean & well maintained. All at just 10 bucks, encouraged to pay taxes :)
Beautiful campus. Went there to attend a festival in their auditorium, nothing to do with their mental health services.
Very neat, clean and well managed Hospital. Doesn't look like a Government Hospital. All the basic amenities are available there. Round the clock doctors are available. Well behaved staff and management. Toilets and drinking water facility is outstanding..
A central institute serving free of cost treatment, investigations and medicines and also offering courses of MD Psychiatry, Mphil PSW and CP, M.Sc Psychiatric nursing and DPN..Nice environment, provides good education and patient care.
One the best institute in northeast India at present for any psychiatric disorder . Myself visited there due some manic depression n bipolar disorder happy with the process right now I m feeling well
