Letscampout Rajmachi Campsite - Campground in Rajmachi - Pune, India

It's amazingly pretty with fireflies and stars. The place has a lot of dust (brown soil dust) so cover yourself well. If your trekking the route keep a scarf handy to cover your mouth as the dust might make you cough.

Best place for camp out and tent... Enjoyable time with friends sitting in middle of bonfire

Awesome for trekking also suggest to start walk from lonavala station only not on bikes or cabs... You will get much more better experience

Very quiet place .. ideal for camping and bonfire .. beware of scorpions here ..

You should definitely visit it ... Clean grounds but make sure you don't litter this place

We were group of 8 people and we went with mischief trekes. We went there for a festival called 'fireflies festival', little hiking and camping. fireflies were main attraction. We went there on 2nd weekend of june. Fireflies are expected just before monsoons every year for 4 to 5 weeks. It's a pre monsoon festival. The place is beautiful, there was a bit of forest vibe there. The two forts around this beautiful village and near campsite. The place was overcrowded for me which i didn't expected. I went there for raw camping experience but i didn't feel anything like that. Too much people too much noice. The place was much more polluted that night compared to other nights that is what i felt. People coming there having alcohol and people smoking everywhere. It was coming to some other part of same crowded city. We got to see some fireflies top of the trees that night.

Loved camping there. Amazing to see firefly's all over the mountain and ground. But the road from Lonavala to Rajmachi is very risky via car and slippery. Better to avoid self driven car and ask for a jeep or so. That takes 250 per person. Not worth the risk.
