Inside the Nehru Park you can see a tall standing statue of Russian Statesman Vladimir Lenin. it was built and inaugurated in the year 1987 to celebrate 70 years of the Russian Revolution by Russian politician Nikolai Ryzhkov in the presence of then prime minister Rajiv Gandhi. The statue is one of the highlights of the beautiful Park.

Im not a communist but i do respect indo-russian ties and the sad, grim history communism has had since its advent and the bloodbath people have had to go through to uphold the ideals of bolshevism. Yes it was quite a surprise to see it standing(I'm glad) to this day when the yanks have been trying to eradicate every bit of communist element from their partner countries.

A very nice, clean, well maintained area.. where everyone want to go and spend quality time. It's a famous statue of Lenin present there. It's completely in a beautiful park known as Nehru Plan.

It is situated in Nehru Park. One of the largest park of Delhi. If you love to hangout and greenery then this place is for you.
