Lengpui Airport - Airport in Lengpui - Aizawl, India

Very small airport considering the only airport in whole Mizoram and quitr Far frm Aizawl city also . Interiors are extremely in poor conditions and need a lot of improvements in upcomings .

Lengpui or Aizawl airport is the main airport of Mizoram located 30 kms away from the city center. This is a very nice and cute airport and it is very scenic! You won't get great facilities here and there is no airport lounge, and that is expected from such airports. Overall I loved the ambience and I hope it stays the same! As of now there is no bus from the airport to the city center, you need to hire a cab.

Small and congested airport that too under construction causes difficulties in various activities related to checkin. Mostly they keep open only one checkin counter resulting in long queue. No cleanliness. Building material is lying any where. Washrooms are unhygienic. Pots are broken. Might be improved after completion of construction project.

This has to be one of the most beautiful airport around. Not exactly the building, but the flight's approach to the airport is so awesome when you fly between the hills and suddenly land on the small airstrip over a hilltop. The building is still under construction and feels more like a bus stand. Airport still is very small and connected via very few flights. Don't expect too much of amenities and services here, and njoy the serenity.

As a view, just amezing , full of virgin natural views. The airstrip is somewhat similar to the one at Nepal and Bhutan. At the first sight one can notice the clouds gushing over the surrounding mountains. As per service quality a bit like older airports.

Beautiful airport! Just two flights a day... hope Mizoram economy booms and this region grows in all aspects!

The airport is under development. I hope they will make it one of the best airport especially for the Zonahthlak
