We spent two nights at the Lemon Tree Gangtok and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very neat and clean, the staff extremely welcoming and friendly, and Chef Govind and his team put out a huge spread at every meal. He went out of his way to check if everything was in order and to our liking. He and his team were also more than happy to cater to requests.
we stayed here for 3 nights and 2 days. The location is very beautiful, surrounded with greenary and hill tops. The service quality is also top notch comparing other hotels here. Specially I want to mention about the food section, Citrus Cafe, we took breakfast and dinner there. Chef Govind is head cook, taking personal care for everything. Also other members like kalap, Abubakker, Snehasis made beautiful dishes and served with a smile.
It was an exceptional experience. Rooms and facilities were good but food was amazing and extraordinary...special thanx to Chef Govind and Rajendra. Overall service and warmth provided by the staff deserves commendation.

The Doorman to the Porter. Housekeeping, in-house dining were commendable and served us with a smile. Everyone went the extra mile and adhered to all our needs. Special Thanks to all the Head Chefs Govind, Snehashish, Rajendra, Kamal, Jahedul, and staff and front desk personnel namely Ayush, Saroj, Manas, Chongjee. Akash, Sapna, Sudan, Bikash...,Apologies if I have missed anyone out!! My mum and four sisters had the BEST time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying at Gangtok.
Overall stay was great and the entire staff was cooperative. Had great experience in restaurant too for breakfast and dinner so special mention for great chef Govind and staff like Sudan, Palash and dawa and mingsu went extra mile to serve us and took good care of us and I may not remember all names but everyone was courteous and helpful. Dishes like moong dal halwa and local dishes were all great. Will recommend anyone visiting Gangtok
