Leisurely By the Foothills - Hotel in Lonavala, Kurvande - Pune, India

We had gone here as part of office outing. We were 17 folks in total. We chose this bungalow after looking at the location and it didn't dissapoint. Rooms are all clean and food is also good. Special mention to the barbeque that was prepared. One can also enjoy playing cricket, badminton as well as spend sometime in the swimming pool. All of us had great fun here. Would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely outstanding experience. Hosted a birthday party here and it was fabulous. The water in the pool was very clean. The entire place was very very well maintained. The staff at the place prepared absolutely delicious food and made sure all our requirements were full filled. Great place. And no photos can do justice with the view we enjoyed.

Beautiful location, secluded place ...close to nature ....rooms are average , makes up the service .. The approach road from Lonavala is very bad, low clearance vehicle will find it difficult to traverse. View is great

The property is beautiful, rooms are clean and the staff is accommodating... BUT the place is very very far from the actual city. There is one thing being far and one thing being almost not able to locate on the map. You just drive drive drive drive till you pray to God that it's enough just kill me. There are no sign boards to direct you properly so after a point you have to follow caretakers directions and if you are a big group and have 3 to 4 cars that makes it even more difficult to coordinate. On top of that there are no roads absolutely nothing for last 1 hours (maybe more) drive when you are nearing the villa. You have to be the best driver of your group and you should have your servicing due before you enter into such kind of adventure. Because it is in jungle or in a place where once you reach and if you get into any trouble or medical emergency you have to drive though all that I just told you which again ticks a box of not the ideal place. So if you have elderly members, lil babies or pregnant ladies or anybody with any neck, back issues this place is not for you. Trust me after the drive you will have issues for sure. The place is beautiful but not worth the trouble and pain and exhaustion the journey puts you into while reaching there. Not sure what owners can do but visitors can benefit from this feedback and think twice before choosing this place.

Excellent property!!!!!! We went with family n friends everything was so good specially there you can connect with nature greenery everywhere n there is lake within walking distance ...Awesome view, delicious food ,polite staff. Thanks leisurely by the foothills for wonderful stay!!!!!!

Beware... Heavily Overpriced Place!!! 1. The Leisurely team member Anushka was so arrogant with the conversation right from the time of booking. I was in a great shock - thinking if I was the organiser and Anushka was my guest! 2. It took us 2 and half hours from Lonavala to reach the destination with the bad roads. But, upon reaching instead of we had been asked to comfort ourselves, we were asked to pay the balance 45% amount with continuous reminders after evedy 30 minutes / 1 hour. Imagine - you are trying to adjust and pacify your mind for the trauma you went through due to bad road conditions to reach the place and someone asks you / sends WhatsApp message with rude language to pay balance amount; what could be your reactions! The lady - Anushka told me it's their Company Policy to pay 100% amount before check in else they can't check you in!!! I expressed my opinion about non worthiness of place for the price paid she reacted instantly that it could be my personal preference and opinion. 3. I haven't seen any Hotel / Resort asking for balance payment before check in even though you have paid 50% or more advance. 4. Rooms are good but with average furniture and interior quality (not worth the price they charge). Door Locks were not working which were fixed later on upon complaint. Still the window lock was defunct and anyone could enter your room from the window even if you have taken care of locking main door / sliding French window based door. 5. I must admit one thing - the care taker boys Mithun and Pravin are the Brilliant and Hardworking guys and at your service 24 hours!!! They ensured that we spend our rest of time nicely and provided superb service. They served us good / tasty hot food and even arranged Barbeque Session. They always a call away whenever we needed them! Now, here comes the complete descriptive narrate of my Experience!!! Don't just rely on the Boucher sent by the Leisurely Team... It looks so beautiful in the Broucher just like a heaven and 5 Star Property!!! They show you the beautifully taken close up pictures but do not show how the place look from outer side. My imagination was - it could be a lush green lawn spread around the property but it was just a small patch in front of cottage. I thought it could be straight away located on the banks of Pawana Water Body but what I could see was some construction of new bungalow opposite rooms... It's my attempt to showcase the reality. Some Construction Activities are going on in front of the cottages which spoils your view! Lots of Construction Material lying in the opposite area of the cottages... The place as such is beautiful. No doubts about Pawna Lake Surrounding. The nature is so beautiful with the rains and mist around. But if you talk of Leisurely By the Foot Hills Resorts, it is marketed by the company called Travellers Escapade. They don't tell you the 100% truth or reality! The place is actually not a Villa; it's the combination of 4 Cottage like rooms with a Swimming Pool Facility and a Recreation Area around... According to my opinion the place is worth 50% price what they ask for. The price you pay is just for stay, nothing is included - no meals not even breakfast. One more recommendation - if still you book then do not dare to take your Sedan Car / Small Car... The road is worst!!! Almost 15 Kms you need to travel off road with your car touching the earth due to uneven road conditions. Yes, the Leisurely Team sent me one or two videos which convinces you to take your car as you feel it's just a patch or two of bad road. I was recommended to take SUV but of course looking at the videos it convinced me that it is motorable road with just couple of bad patches... To summarize - the organisers seriously think about stopping the loot and charge reasonably to the visiting guests. They blindly rely on your brouchers and and the partial information provided... Rest - my photos will talk the truth !!!

What a lovely place!!We had an amazing time..simply the best food,service and amenities.The drive is long but worth the scenic view.After all,that's what we want.."far away from the maddening crowd". Highly recommended and must must visit

Our stay was extremely comfortable. beautifully surrounded in a great location.The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help makin our stay most pleasurable...lookin forward to visit again
