affordable place to eat with best service and food...specifically i love noodles here as they are loaded with vegetables and their soups are truly a delight to have in winters
Simple food but fresh and delicious. Everything is home made, even the noodles and pickle. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. It was a little hard to find, just follow the big red sign 'Chinese &Tibetan Specialist Food' in the main lane of Monastery Market and go up the stairs. It's also known as Open Air Ladakh Restaurant. This will definitely be my go to place when in the area.

I tried this restaurant and thukpa for the first time today and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant beautifully decorated. Overall a good meal and great value I will certainly be going back. Paid 65 rs for this thukpa bowl.
Best place for chinese in Delhi. I am so in love with the food that i go from noida to Kashmiri gate just to have noodles and momos. Every chinese lover should try at least once.
The only restaurant present inside monastery market. Serves Indo Chinese and Indo Tibetan food at reasonable price. You can have different soups in both vegetarian and and non-vegetarian. Also various noodles are on the list. I tried Singapore Chowmien it was ok not much good as expected. So one who wish to try Tibetan food can head to this restaurant.
When I first moved to Delhi in December 2006, and lived in a tiny boarding room in Civil Lines, my good friend Dinesh showed me this hidden restaurant in the Ladakhi monastery grounds. Every visit was a humble treat. The momos, the thukpa, the chow mein, with Coca Cola, surrounded by stout Himalayan monks. It was my go to place for a solid meal, it has the bustle of a mountain canteen. Sixteen years later I visited again and it's pretty much the same. Same good vibe, same hearty food. I love it. Kind of bemused it's listed as a Chinese restaurant though. It's not: it's Ladakhi.
