Leh Market offers a vibrant and diverse shopping experience in a beautiful setting. The market is quite sizable, and its unique charm lies in the presence of numerous Tibetan sellers and a wide array of goods available for purchase. From handlooms to dry fruits and various other items, the market caters to a range of interests and tastes. The presence of Tibetan sellers adds a distinctive cultural flavor to the market. Their shops are likely to showcase traditional Tibetan handicrafts, textiles, and artifacts, making it an ideal place to explore and purchase authentic Tibetan souvenirs. This cultural infusion enhances the overall shopping experience and offers visitors an opportunity to connect with the local heritage. In addition to the Tibetan shops, the market also offers a variety of other goods. Whether you're looking for dry fruits, spices, or local produce, you'll find a wide selection of high-quality items to choose from. It's a fantastic place to indulge in some culinary exploration or find unique ingredients to take back home. One of the highlights of the market is the scenic view it offers. With the backdrop of the majestic Himalayan mountains, the atmosphere is breathtaking. The presence of the clock house adds a touch of nostalgia and serves as a central meeting point for visitors. The nearby mosque adds to the diversity of the market, creating a harmonious blend of different cultures and religious influences. It's worth noting that due to the market's popularity, it can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. However, the bustling atmosphere adds to the overall energy and liveliness of the place. It's advisable to visit early in the day to enjoy a more relaxed shopping experience. Overall, Leh Market is a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a blend of cultural immersion and shopping. If you're looking for a true local and cultural experience, this is an excellent destination to explore. With its diverse range of vendors and unique offerings, you'll find an array of traditional foods, handmade crafts, and souvenirs that are exclusive to the region. The vibrant atmosphere of the market is also a great way to immerse yourself in the local culture and meet friendly locals. One point to consider is that some vendors may initially set their prices quite high. However, bargaining is often welcome in these markets and can be seen as a fun way to interact with vendors and potentially get a better deal. With some skillful negotiation, the prices can often be brought down to a more reasonable level. Nice and clean place. You can get many little things here. Do buy dried Apricot slices here. There is a chance to bargain, you can work out affordable deals. Also many joints where you can enjoy local food stuff too. The market is very beautiful and well maintained.

Beautiful town, vibrant evening life. Days were lit with bright sunlight and evenings cool. Abound beauty around. While visiting Leh a person has to acclimatise for a day or two by taking proper rest and hydration. Mountains are barren but beauty beyond words. Only when you see it you appreciate. Different colours of mountains and rocks can only be seen in Leh .
So many times can spend here without any boring. All kinds of things...essential or nonessential can buy here. But obviously market price is little higher than other places. Evening time is more colorful and attractive than the day. The market is decorate very nicely. The taste of the food of any food shops are very delicious. Here we suddenly met with ART OF MOTION LADAKH ...owner...my friend....and her two students...Indian Idol Qualifiers...and they made my evening more attractive , colorful and happy.
Nice place to stroll around and do window shopping. Lots of eateries and souvenir shops catering to various needs. Good thing is vehicles are not allowed. Nice tea places and great snack options and sit around and chat with friends.
Nice market, not too many people when we were here but enough for a short walking to see, shopping and foods. I didnt buy anything so couldnt know how the sale compared to the other markets but the people sounds nice and not too agressive that made me feel comfortable while walking around.
Such a happening and colourful place. I just loved this place. You sit here, can visit good cafes or also can do shopping. This place do have live brand Cafe's. You can buy dry fruits, Apricot, woollen caps etc

"best price, best cars and best drivers!" After searching and negotiating multiple vendors online, we landed up with Ladakh Adventures. I want to highlight that it was a girls only trip from 7-11 September. My mother and I were felt very comfortable

After renting bikes from Snowfinch, trust me, you will say that it is the best bike rental service in Leh. Sumangal, who helped us plan the trip, provided the best bikes after thorough inspections. He was incredibly helpful throughout the trip and ev
We contacted Nawang randomly while we were trying to get ourselves a cab for Tso Moriri. He was the only one who gave us a guarantee for taking us there on our desired date and offered us a great deal too ! Norbu was our guide and driver for the 2 d
This trip to Ladhak curated by Thinlay at Gatpo alongside Kevin, was the best one I've experienced yet. It wasn't your regular tour that includes only touristy places but one that was whole some. They painstakingly included offbeat places like remote
We picked this guesthouse as our homebase in Leh and kept coming back whenever we were in town. The owner who lives in the same house is a very kind person, always smiling and making sure we'd have everything we needed. Over the course of 4 weeks we

Great service. Very reliable bike. I took 3 tours: Ladakh (1300km)- Jammu & Kashmir (2000km) - Manali (1000km) with the same Himalayan (LA 02 - 8511) without having any problems during the 3 trips. I highly recommend WildYak and this particular bike.
A really well planned tour by the good folks at Ladakh Backpackers. Wonderful car & driver provided by them. Mr Ghulam was super cautious & nimble with his driving skills. Knew how to get through commercial hotspots at strange timings when there's le
