Leela Kamal Guest House - Hotel in Madhupur - Deoghar, India

I must say please don't book this property for your stay. I have a very very bitter experience with this property and it's manager Mr. Mukul. I had booked this property for a period of three days from 06.10.2022 well in advance in the month of July with a advance payment of Rs.5000/- for three rooms at ground floor. But after arriving Mukul babu was missing and instead if three room at ground floor only one room was allowed because all other rooms was preoccupied. There was only three supporting staffs including cook to serve all the near about 30 borders. Toilet was dirty, food was very low quality, standard of cleanliness and hygienic conditions was very very poor. I need to shift within three hours. Mr. Mukul babu was nowhere to whom I have paid the money. It was a nightmare to me.

Room mentanance is very poor. Daily room service is irregular. Service is not expected, as price. Location is more or less good. Less sanitization. It is like a chips guest house.

Nice place to stay for few days,owner Mr Mukul Bose is very helpful, food quality very good cooked by Pradeep. Toilet and dinning should be better.Lastly it's a home away from home.

Nice place, if you are visiting Madhupur you must keep this place in top rank to stay, staffs are good, food is really awesome, try to stay in the ground floor rooms.

It is a nice place to stay. It is not a hotel. It is a home. Never compare it with any modern hotel. Once you are there you will feel like you are at home. Food is very light and tasty. it is as good as ' maayer haater ranna'. Some negative points are there also. Madhupur gets lots of power cut. The guest house provide services of inverter and generator. Still, if it is not winter you will feel the hot weather. And offcourse there is mosquitoes and rats.

This place is incredibly cheap, hence popular with those who can not even afford a budget hotel. The owners serve good foods at modest rates. But this is really a mosquito infested place with frequent power cuts. The generator does not work after ten at night. There is a school somewhere inside this building compound, hence am sorry if you feel genuinely disturbed by the noise caused by the students. There is even a mosque somewhere very close, hence you should be given five free daily very loud doses of Koranic verses recitations blaring through the loudspeakers, even at dawn, which is important for your spiritual enlightenment. And the permanent guests of this building staying there as tenants do encroach upon your privacy. One other thing, please do not disturb the caretaker or the manager if there is a power cut after midnight. They will not turn up the generator.

Lila Kamal guest house was ok and the owner's behavior was absolutely good even the people who looked after us were having a very good behavior but what we didn't like was the room. It was very dirty and damp. They provided us used Bedcover and dirty blanket, the toilet was not clean. Else their food was tasty.

It is not the best place to stay in Madhupur, Jharkhand. First of all, the caretaker and his assistants are careless about the accomodation of their customers. Second of all, the food is not that much of good. Thirdly no maintenance and poor hygiene in kitchen and bathroom and toilet. The car service is good. The behaviour of the manager cum owner of this place, Mr. Mukul Bose is overall satisfying. He can suggest his customers where to go and when to go.
