Leela Grand Resort & Banquet - Resort hotel in Murthal, Sonipat - Sonipat, India

Avoid this place as much as you can. One of my business contacts was staying in the hotel. He left for sight seeing to Delhi and when he came back, he saw his room was given to someone else. He had an argument with the owners. But hotel is run by a young arrogant egoistic couple who yell at their staff and guests. My friend was yelled at, called liar and what not. The owner guy is an uncouth with no sense of dealing with situations. The owner lady has absolutely no respect for guests. Is a sweet talker in the beginning but if there is any argument, she goes on to tell the guests "I am worth more than you are. I earn 2.5 lakhs per day. There is reason why you are on the other side of the table than I am." Very unprofessional people. If things go this way, they will shut down in another 6-7 months.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time Haryana in India. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the staff and Management (Arrushi and Kholi). The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor (Saurab)deserves a special thanks. I had 26 great days here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very handy for bus and to the airport. Their breakfast & coffee are excellent will accommodate any request if possible. Apart from that, as a Sri Lankan, It was very pleasure to attend Indian wedding.It was a really exciting experience. All credits goes to above mentioned names Arrushi and Kholi (Thank you very much ). Literally, the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. I would come back to the hotel in my future endeavors to Murthal. I would highly recommend it and I would give it 10/10. All respect for the Individual who do a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Cheers Would like to give kind of humble advice to the newly recruited team members, please do your work 100% instead of roaming here and there. that would directly impact to your hotel name, the effort of top management and indirectly to you guys too.

Will not suggest this hotel to anyone ... Very bad experience in my lifetime .. the service is very bad. The staff is very rude and uncooperative. We have to ask for basic things so many times . They even serve tea in broken cups. Food menu was horrible. We stayed for 6 days and everyday the same menu was provided. Dining area tables were not even cleaned when you reach morning for breakfast. And when u ask them to clean one guy comes with a dirty cloth and just wipes it and put Everything down. For cleaning room we had to ask them several times. And that too they ll tell, we will clean after we have our lunch. At their own pace. Washrooms they didn't clean even once during all these days... Tv is there but will not work. In one room bcos of short circuit it even burnt. Luckily nothing happened. The whole corridor will be having food waste lying there from all the rooms from evening to the next day afternoon. They say they have a pool.. don't go in that expectation .. it is a pond with full algae Not worth for the money we pay .. will not recommend ..

Had very bad exeperiance with this hotel, unfortunatly our car broke down and we had to stay at this hotel for 1 night.. Rooms were so dirty and floors were sticky, in the bathroom shower accessories were not working properly.. also got mild warm water only.. hospitality was so poor. Seems like hotel were underrenovations. I request to the staff that. Pls,Guys dont cheat with your guests..

Very bad experience. Mismanaged everything , food quality very low , money minded only , never recommend to anyone for marraige / party booking with Leela grand Murthal
