Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa - Hotel in Mahabaleshwar - Satara, India

I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and valued as a guest. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. Food spread at breakfast was excellent. We had one meal at woods pan Asian restaurant, which was brilliant. The location was convenient and close to many popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area.

Very unprofessional behaviour! These guys have cancelled my reservation without my approval even when I booked well in advance. When I called them they said they have been booked for a wedding so they conveniently cancelled my reservation. From the other reviews it seems like I am not the only one to whom this has happened. Their actions doesn't seem to justify the brand name they carry. If possible avoid this place!

My reservation was cancelled unceremoniously, a month after it was confirmed. I booked through the official website, not through a third party system. The Meridien system transferred me to the front desk who told me they cannot help me. Extremely unorganized if they cannot keep track of reservations.

I have had the most amazing experience at Le Meridian. It is absolutely my absolute favourite hotel in India. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The heated pool overlooking the valley really sets this property apart. My daughter loved the kids center and the feeding the ducks. The key aspect was the amazing hospitality. It was absolutely outstanding, Rahul and his team did such a nice decor for us at Chingari to welcome my daughter since it was a first trip at a proper resort. For all our meals Rahul and Chinmaya and their team was constantly there taking care of all our little needs. They were catering to the needs of my 3 year old daughter also so well, it was just amazing to see how well they hosted us and served us during our stay. The food was extremely good, the master Chef Harpreet cooked personalised meals for my daughter without to suit her palate. Even on our last day they packed a big box of strawberries and seeds for our journey back. I am looking forward to returning to the property again, not just because of the awesomeness of the property but more for the amazing hospitality I experienced at the resort. Amazing work but the Meridian stuff to manage the hotel even during such difficult times during the pandemic.

The resort had really great hospitality and everyone was very polite and made us feel like home. Our butler Mr. Arbaz Shaikh was superb and made sure all our needs were met. The food was excellent and with the help of the culinary department we had an amazing thali that was prepared by the hotel chefs. The Woods dining experience was sublime The pan Asian food offered there was delicious. Must have the green Thai curry and the gooey chocolate cake. The food was splendid! The rooms were very spacious and well maintained. We even ordered room service one day and it was very good.

We just loved everything about our stay. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed all the activities - there was so much more to do that we should have planned our stay for a couple of more days. Staff is excellent - chef sardarji, Annu and Rahul Singh really took good care of us. The rooms are superb with good view and balcony. Food - what do I say. Each and every dish we had was outstanding - be it at Chingari, Woods, latest recipe and even the breakfast spread. A Complete 10/10

We had a lovely stay at the LeMeridien Mahableshwar. The property is set in a beautiful forested area which keeps it cool even on hot days. The rooms(villas) are very spacious and airy. The food at all the outlets was great. Chingari had delectable Indian cuisine and Woods - the outdoor Pan Asian food was such a unique dining experience - literally "dining in the woods under the stars!" The property has something for all ages - the adventure park was very well equipped with all the safety procedures being followed to the T and our teenage son was super thrilled by the experience. For us adults, a visit to the spa to get a Deep Relax massage was extremely rejuvenating. Overall it was a wonderful weekend getaway and we will definitely be back. Special mention to Chef Harmeet and Rahul Singh for the amazing hospitality and warmth.

Le Meridien at Mahabaleshwar was a perfect choice for our family's vacation this year. I personally have gone through a lot of Marriott properties in the US. The service and hospitality was unmatched. Our upgrades went hassle free which is amazing! Rahul and team were thoughtful in their breakfast service. We went to Chingari for dinner on Day 1 and the food there was really delicious and worth remembering. Only feedback here are the portions. We were a family of 5 and the starters had only 4 pieces in it. Larger families would have problems enjoying the starters. Nevertheless, our concern was addressed there and then and additional starters were served which delighted us. The Head Chef at Chingari was really thoughtful and catered to our needs right from the start. Everything within the room and everyone within the staff was thoughtful and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We went to the infinity pool one afternoon but they had a weird rule about not allowing cotton tee and shorts on. There were no slides or anything to warrant synthetics so we couldn't enjoy the pool which was a huge bummer. Maybe just let people know beforehand when they arrive to get synthetics so this can be avoided. All in all, the Mahabaleshwar Marriott property is comparable and even better than most US properties, and we see ourselves visiting again next year. Please make sure to uphold this quality and standard throughout the years. Thank you so much for this experience.
