Le Maritime Kochi - Hotel in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

We stayed here for six days. We booked 3 rooms and I must say that the rooms were not even satisfactory. Not only my room but also others had a persistent unpleasant odor. Despite their claim of being a 5-star property, I would rate it closer to a 1-star experience at best. Our experience was marred by their poor treatment of guests, especially by the bar manager in the restaurant. His behavior towards us was rude and unpleasant.

The hotel falls below a 5-star rating in my assessment; I would rate it a 2 or even less. Our check-in was delayed, and upon entering the room, we encountered unpleasant odors and a notably dirty bathroom. Despite being upgraded, the overall quality was lacking. On a positive note, the breakfast we had every day was satisfactory. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the extremely rude behavior of the rooftop bar manager, who not only displayed bullying behavior but also conveyed a distressing level of discourtesy. In my opinion, this individual should not remain in a customer-facing role. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and certainly did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel.

Wonderful family stay with beautiful view rooms! The staff was well-mannered and attended to all our requests with utmost care. The rooms were well maintained, and the facilities provided were perfect for a vacation. We had an awesome stay overall! Highly recommended!

Room was neat ,but the bathroom had the shower side pouring into the the main toilet while using the shower. Room service - called them a number of times. They answered and were clueless about their own menu. Language barrier as well. Called reception for help and they don't answer as well. No call back.we left the hotel without eating and decided to eat else where. Reception- As the room service they too were clueless about the spa and salon.They too don't answer calls. Food was average. The hotel location is not prime at all , surrounded by the fish market. Buses and taxi stand right in front of the hotel entrance. Don't judge the hotel by the picture shown. I would not recommend this as you would get better places to stay and a whole lot better service at other locations. Swimming pool is disappointing. 4ft max depth and small. When we were checking out and had informed the reception about the disappointment they were relaxed and gave us no answers. No help was given while check out. Stay away from this property. No worth your time and money. 1hr from the airport.

I enjoyed the stay and location was wonderful. Food can improve, service they have improved compare to last time. Whole front office team was a supportive and uber and shuttle service, me and my family totally recommende it .

Good, neat rooms. Clean bathroom as well. Only 3 or 4 covered parking. But open parking available. Tasty and delightful food. But they take a lot of time to prepare the food we order. Took almost 2 hours to get the full course dinner served. Good service overall. They says it is a 5 star hotel, but feels like a 4 star hotel only. Location: avg Near to the fish market and harbour.

One of the worst customer services I have experienced. For 7 people party they gave 1 menu card. We asked for 2 water bottles and they gave 1 that too after a 25 mins delay. The food was delivered without actually distributing the plates. The paratha was served almost cold. Never expected this kind of service from a 5 star hotel restaurant. I hope this helps people who are planning to eat here or the management to fix this service miss/mess

Overall well priced . Certainly value for money . The location isn't that advantageous since you need to take ferry to go to fort kochi or a long travel back into the city Pay and eat alacart food was really good . Very nice . Complementary Buffet breakfast is useless and very blant .the service was also a little lazy . They wouldn't even let us know the food options available for ordering . Same menu everyday . Very boring . No nonveg other than sausage and egg. The area around the hotel is not the cleanest as it's the main fish hub . The staff were helpful for sure but they lack enthusiasm. They behave as if they are not paid for their service .only reception staff were fine .
