Visited this beach for experiencing Sunrise in the early morning. Very peaceful and calm beach and very neat and clean, a walkers' paradise. Besides the beach lies top hotels of Pondicherry with absolutely gorgeous views of the sea from the sea facing rooms of this hotel. Wishing to stay in one of these during my next trip to Pondicherry. The sunrise.from the beach was wonderful and enjoyed it to extreme.
Pondicherry is always close our hearts. Promenade beach front is wonderful place to sit and relax after long tiring day. The Bay of Bengal sea with its aggressive waves... the sound of these waves is like meditation.
Best sunrise ever....!! Must visit place. One of the best sunrise point in Pondicherry. The Beach was neat and clean. You can click your best sunrise photos here. Instead wasting time on other Beach's, you can grab your best moment here.
You can see the best sunrise from this place. The beach is neat and clean, not very crowded. You can enjoy some food at the cafes near the beach. We tried waffles and ice tea that was so tempting and refreshing. There is no entry fee and the food is also reasonable.
Absolutely breathtaking....! The colonial buildings, the lighting, and the lighthouse were stunning. A panoramic photo is a must. The cops in Pondi have a unique hat. Forgot to take a photo. Be ready to take a stroll along the Promenade, perhaps grab a bite. Actually there are plenty of places to grab a bite in the parallel road to Promenade. Just soak in the air and the atmosphere at the Promenade.
Good beach area which is well maintained. Please don't litter the beach. Public toilets and dust bins are available. The Pondicherry pier, is quite a popular place and I think it is worth a visit to learn about the place, experience serenity and of course click some fabulous pictures/shoot some nice snippets. The pier where once the French boats docked, is now only a part of what it used to be before it was destroyed by the cyclone in the 1950s. As you can see in the picture, it's not in the best condition anymore.
Skirts around the beach side. Early mornings are lined by runners, cyclists, yoga doers, evenings by mostly couples, families. Neat and we'll maintained. Several rad pubs and bistros are at walking distance.
One of the best place to enjoy sun rise in the morning The beach has nice benches and rock to sit and enjoy the beautiful climate . As it is located near the white town area.... It is best spot for photography tooo the road is sooo calm, peaceful, attractive with nicely painted buildings

Rock Beach (or, known as, "Pondicherry Beach". French: Plage de la promenade) is the popular stretch of beachfront in the city of Puducherry, India, along the Bay of Bengal. It is a 1.2-kilometre-long stretch in Pondicherry, starts from War Memorial
Amazing place. The sunrise view outstanding.Fantastic location with a great view. Very well maintained, as you'll see a fine beach at one side and the brilliance of French Architecture on the other side. Rock beach reminds me of Mumbai's Marine Drive
This is really worth to visit. I went to rock beach for sunrise. But this is the perfect place for sunrise. It is near to Pondicherry airport. And it is recently developed place with good road and lights. Crowd will be less and you will enjoy it well

This is the best gym where I've never experienced such great care and support from trainers. I've come here for fitness where they not only give workouts but also other activities like Zumba, yoga, cross fit, etc. and I'm feeling good about myself. I
