Lazeez - North Indian restaurant in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

I had ordered from Zomato, the mutton biriyani was fine however the mutton Shami kebab was rotten and smelt stale. Chicken korma's gravy was absolutely tasteless and the chicken was hard and not cooked well and the icing on the cake was a fine strand of hair on the egg. Disgusting experience! It spoilt the appetite completely. Never ordering again!

Lazeez, located in Koramangala 5th Block, Bangalore, is a North Indian and Mughlai restaurant that serves a range of dishes including biryani, kebabs, and rolls. However, some of my friends have told me that the quality of the food has gone down in recent times, which is something to keep in mind. One of the unique features of Lazeez is the Kolkata-style biriyani with potato. While it might not be the most traditional style of biryani, it is definitely worth trying if you are in the mood for something different. Additionally, the rolls at Lazeez are also highly recommended, with chicken and egg being popular options. Overall, while there might not be anything particularly "wow" about Lazeez, it is definitely a decent place to grab some tasty rolls and North Indian food. However, it is important to note that the quality of the food might be inconsistent, so it might be best to ask for recommendations from the staff before ordering.

One of the best places in Bangalore to have the classic Kolkata Awadhi style biryani and my go to place here in the city...the taste is as close as it can get to the delicious Calcutta biryani..very few tables and a small no-frills restaurant. Staff are polite and service is good. The biryani rice itself is not too oily and not too dry..very balanced..the mutton pieces were pretty good but could have been just slightly more tender, soft and juicy...the decent-size potato piece (invariably the main highlight of the biryani) too was very tasty but could have been aa little more on the tender side...Do note they don't provide the egg which is a must...so make sure to ask for the boiled egg separately which we did :)..overall it remains my favourite place for Kol-style Biryani in Bangalore and Bengalis here must visit to get a decent taste of our homeland's most favourite dish.

The best kolkata style biriyani with potato (but they serve it without egg, half star deducted for that) I had in Koramangala Area is this, Lazeez. The biriyani was light, mutton pieces were soft n tender, aloo too. But my vegetarian colleague took a paneer dish with roti, and seeing that I thought edible oil prices had a catastrophic fall. (Other half star deducted for the abundance of oil in other dishes).

Food taste was very bad. Service i will say it was negative! The behaviour of the waiter was so bad. He was about to fight with us. I would recommend to immediately remove these kind of staffs from your outlet. They simply don't know how to behave with a customer. He was on his own attitude and was arguing with us regarding bill and order. I will try to file a complaint against this outlet in Koramangala and will align the food inspectors ( hygiene agency ) to look into this outlet regarding its food quality and hygiene of the kitchen. The chicken biriyani we order felt like stale food. And the chicken gravy felt like slippery ( don't know what was there ). Really very disappointed with this. My personal review: -1 out of 5.

I had to repeatedly request water, and despite wanting to order more and seek recommendations, the staff was nowhere to be found. This left me frustrated and impacted my overall dining experience. 5. **Communication Breakdown:** Even sharing my concerns with the cashier proved to be a challenge, as the servers were occupied and unavailable to address my complaints. The inability to get my bill without a struggle further dampened my impression of the establishment. 6. **Attitude Matters:** Surprisingly, the attitude displayed by the cashier was reminiscent of the servers. It was evident that there was a lack of ownership and pride in their roles. This consistent attitude throughout the staff is concerning, considering the potential the restaurant holds. While Lazeez Restaurant has undoubtedly earned its culinary accolades, it's crucial for them to address the issues with their service and staff engagement. The fantastic taste of their offerings should not be overshadowed by a disinterested and lackadaisical team. It's my hope that the management takes heed of these concerns and implements changes that align with the high standards the restaurant could achieve. The potential for Lazeez Restaurant to be a true gem in both culinary and service aspects is undeniable, and I look forward to a future visit that reflects this potential more fully.

I asked for Mutton Biriyani as take away and received chicken biryani instead. If you are taking a parcel, make sure you get the right thing. The place has very limited sitting. Ambience and space has deteriorated a lot compared to when it was in the basement.

I reach out there fr Amazing tasty (Kolkata style) Biryani & Rolls. Must mention, Chicken Chaap is also quite tasty there. Price is arnd Rs. 250 for Mutton Biryani. Not the best comfortable place to dine, but surely One of the Tastiest Biryani places in town. It's in 5th Block, Kormangla!
