Laxmi Restaurant - Goan restaurant in Mapusa - North Goa, India

A small 5 seater joint with no hanky panky ambience. I would call it a hidden gem for Goan fish thail or Malvani fish thail. I had Chonak Fish thail, which consisted of one fried Chonak fish fillet (my personal favourite, as you hardly get in Mumbai), small portion/vaattii of Mussels/tisrryaa, Tiwal/ tiivaal (Sol kadi without coconut milk), Big Bowl steamed White Rice, Unlimited bowl of fish curry called Humaan /humnn, fish curry had small shrimps and last but not least small portion/ vaattii of raddish vegetable/ mulyaacii bhaajii. I would rate the food 110 out of 100. Best thali that i had after very long time. The preparations had very homely taste which is still lingering and must visit place during my next Goa trip.

It's a wonderful restaurant. Food is great and service is quick. We had mackerel fish Thali and it was delicious. Budget friendly.

Best place for Breakfast and lunch. Many bhaji options with fresh Samosa, mirchi, kapa, bhaji, etc. For lunch the homemade thali is the best. A must try place in Mapusa. It is near Alankar theater old mapusa market.

The tastiest and cheapest fish thali in Mapusa, equaled with fast service for a hungry stomach. Quality is very good too. Go for the kingfish thali if you are really hungry as I have observed that you get it very quickly.

It's a small place, just about 4-6 tables. But the food is good and satisfying. Portions are good. Staff are nice too. Quick and tasty food. Will come back.
