It was an amazing and very peaceful experience during our two days stay at Hotel Laxmi. The owner Mr. Vaishal and entire team is very humble, prompt and they make you very comfortable. The rooms were very clean and neat. They serve homely and authentic food. However, there is still scope for overall development like provision of AC, Hot water Geyser etc, but sincerely speaking, It's an amazing place in limited budget. Moreover the valley view rooms are an icing on cake and you don't need to visit any points.
Decent rooms at a reasonable rate. The view from here is great. Need not to go to any viewing point as one can sit, drink and enjoy the view from here.
It is a heritage hotel and could do with some maintenance but the room we stayed in was fairly comfortable, clean and quiet. The view is incredible and the family are kind and friendly. It has a beautiful peaceful garden in which you can sit and enjoy the view or do yoga overlooking the valley and mountains. Would highly recommend it if you can see past it's initial flaws. We loved our stay at laxmi hotel and in matheran.
Stayed at this hotel in March 23, scenery and ambience of location of the hotel is mesmerising and wonderful. One can directly see sunrise through mountains from hotel backyard.
Rooms can be better maintained to further enhance the aura of the hotel.
If you want to stay with nature you must prefer this property
The whole concept of this hotel is like old havali where you will find the old style furniture,independent cottage with front seting area to chill out . Also the people (owner and staff)are very nice polite and friendly.
There was a backyard where We did our dinner with bone-fire at night, with the beauty of valley , with sky full of stars and some music

We had a we good time here.
The hotel is centrally located, the service provided was fine whatever we asked for they provided.
But the rooms are not at all well maintained.
The ceiling fan was not working so they arranged a table fan.
There was a rat in one of the bathroom.
No direct supply of hot water.
There were no arrangement for hanging the clothes in bathroom and even in rooms.

You get a scenic view of sunrise from mountain and valley from the backyard.
Here you will get variety of flora and a completely pure nature.
Rooms and bathrooms are clean.
Gujarati food is also available.
Lovely, quaint place and very affordable. The owner, Vishwal Mehta is a great host and always takes care and checks for your comfort. You can also see the sunset in the morning from a special point and it is a lovely place to get some calm. Plus there's a dining hall with delicious vegetarian fare. All in all, a great experience
