Hello I am from mangalore. i have been a regular customer for last 4 years. Few months back I visited this showroom and ordered one gold chain for my engagement. They agreed to provide the item before engagement. paid advance same day. one month duration given for this. But they didn't t give. I got this after my engagement. I was worried and when I asked with them. They didn't provide the item at right time and also manager (Nataraj)behave unmannerly.

We had enrolled for a gold scheme which they changed the terms when they wanted to right in between the sheme without even informing us about the changes and at the end of the sheme when we confronted them they just told us we sent an sms wheres we haven't received any . Even after all this we agreed to everything and told them to just give us the gold they owe us but their shop was completely empty not a single piece of jewelry was available. After that we agreed they would give us gold coins instead and as if today it's been 3 months and we haven't recieved the coins yet . Idk why are they fooling people with our hard earned money

They cheated us by not returning the gold scheme money. They give the reason that they have changed their server so they do not have the data. Such a worst place..

Big time frauds. Please visit the store and redeem any gold schemes that Mangalore residents have subscribed to before they tee off with your hard-earned money

Went there for the first time.. Was sceptical to do so, but did overcome that denial mode as was going there with my friend who had a gold scheme out there. To be honest was not curious also as had this pre-assumption that it wud be just as any other gold showroom in Mangalore which actually doesn't attract me because of the approach and the non-acceptability of the higher purchases and lower purchases as one and mainly the lack of low weight designs and most pre-dominantly the exorbitant making charges they fleece. I have come across almost all the showrooms in Mangalore, and I do feel the burn as back in my hometown Trichur the gold arena is a welcoming one in terms of behaviour and designs. So I step in to Laxmi, non-reluctantly but in just a matter of few conversations with manager and the sales team felt a difference for sure. And hence would sum out a few here. Cons 1) limitations of designs in chains and bangles 2) percentage of cut on old gold seems to be higher, though everywhere in Mangalore it is the same 3) Just like many other Jewellers they too don't accept the exchange of platinum and diamonds too don't get a decent price on exchange, if the ornament is not purchased from them. But then Mangalore is a place where I have come across jewellers who don't exchange diamond and platinum brought from their own shop. PROS 1) quite a welcoming staff and Manager who are ready to be patient with the customers and do show the max number designs 2) They have gold designs that is suitable for all the pockets, if there is a particular pattern you have seen which is on the heavier side, they are ready to make the same in a lighter weight too. 3) They do allow to click snaps of their ornaments so that the customer gets a chance to share it with their folks for an opinion 4) They are willing to accept customized designs too 5) Making Charges also seemed to be comparatively less. 6) They had the most amazing collection of earing studs and drops. So on the overall bracket it was definitely a good experience. So wud I go there for my next purchase is still a million dollar question...maybe I do need to step out of my personal ground and think beyond and do give myself a chance with Laxmi.
