The samosa did not taste like how it should be. Samosa wasn't great at all. The chai was okay. Overall super disappointed. Samosa is 30 rs. There's better samosas outside in the streets for 10rs and they taste much much better. We do not recommend here, although it is famous. People outside Assam might not like this especially if you're from states with good food.
We loved the tea (Chai) and the samosa.
The Gaamor Laadu ( Gond ke laddoo) is also very good. Do try out the Boondiya Bhujia, it very different and tasty.
Amidst Fancy Bazaar's busy shopping spree, this place provides reliable, tasty and quick snacking option with recharging tea to get you back on your shopping fest.
Established back in 1942, Laxmi Cabin has been a popular restaurant since its infancy. It is located in Fancy Bazaar. Had the samosa and its tea. They tasted average and regular like any other shop. Except the prices were a bit on the moderate to high range, samosa for Rs 17 and tea for Rs 10. But keeping in mind its history, the prices make total sense.
Crowded on rush hour, you have to stand and quick bite...no seating. But it do not matter as the food quality is super! We tried Tea, Shingara and A pink moose for my kid....I can till feel the amusing taste!
Whenever I go to fancy bazar, this is the place for my chai. They have variety of good quality sweets. I often take tea and rasmalai or tea and samosa. There is no place to sit, only standing tables are available. Self service only.
One of the oldest sweet shop of assam.
Around 80+ years old sweet shop.
Famous for its samosas, kachoris with a cup o delicious tea.
Also famous for its soft & juicy rasmalai.
Sweets made of dairy are fresh , soft and very tasty.
You can get fresh chena items.
Also offers fresh paneer.
The location is on spot.
Good place for a cup of tea with friends & family
The sweets are costly but also taste good at the same time. Prices should be a bit reasonable considering its such an old stall. Also, it's my request to the owner to kindly make provision for a wash basin inside the eatery premises. They have the best samosas in Guwahati btw. Period.
After tiring strolling around markets in Fancy
Where I often finish my day is in this place.
Trying out varieties of sweets from rashmalai to malai chamcham, Kashori, singra and cup of hot tea which is for sure compulsory.. Must to do in the list always.
One can finid hoards of people into this place often sipping tea coffee.. This time I find in the side centre for milkshakes too.. Dint try but I guess in summer its a good option to pick too..
Owner is so friendly and good human being as far my opinion, it is situated besides Ambika Ananda, Khanapara, hardly 1km from Health City Hospital, good hospitality, good food, momos are really awesome at 70 rupees plate. Taste a ethnic food at a rea
If you are on a budget this place is for you. For a very reasonable price they provide good quality and quantity food. When we went there, we had ordered a chicken roll, but they put a lot of salt in it. Mistakes happen obviously, when we informed th
Tasty food, less spices but great indie flavours, best if you want authentic naga food with chili. One of the best Naga food ever eaten in Guwahati. And service was awesome. Was serviced by an amazing cheerful, experienced guy named 'Manash' and it w

Had a veg thali with a bowl of Champaran style Mutton. Each of the veg items in the thali had their own signature taste. The Sukto left me guessing, as to what was used as an ingredient to achieve that taste.
Finished the thali, then moved on to the
Always had awesome experience be it in Dine, take away or delivery.
Enjoyed Lunch , dinner and each food order from The Spice Bhawan, every thing is very freshly cooked n good hygiene maintained as well.
This place serves the best momos in town and at such reasonable price! There's this 20 momos for 200 rs option (5 momos each of steam, pan fried, schezwan and cheese fried). The Maharaja roll is also quite good. Everything is well within the budget.
