Very bad customer service. Very rude behaviour from the receptionist. Even if we go with friends they don't allow to book adjacent rooms for boys and girls. We just booked two rooms , they gave rooms for the girls on the ground floor but our male friend was sent far away from our rooms on the top floor and they asked extra money from him for room near us . So when we decided to leave the hotel within 20 minutes they asked 500 rs jus because we entered their rooms and made us wait for another half an hr before paying us back.
The room was not cleaned properly. Bedsheet was full of stains and there was smoke and alcohol smell all over the hotel. Not recommended for families.
Situated opposite to the Tirunelveli Bus Stand. Rooms were good. Bar facilities are available for people who prefer. Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food options are available in the hotel and nearby. Prices are affordable.
No toiletries provided by hotel. Hotel manager was very rude. I don't know if he is the real manager or just some random person. He doesn't know how to speak to customers. Rooms are non smoking but people smoking and entire corridor had smoke smell. Upon inquiring the manager says he cannot do anything about it. Rooms are quite old, Queen suite is in pathetic condition. I stayed in King suite which is Okish. Plz someone talk to the manager and ask him to take some training about being professional, improving communication skill and customer experience. Only one thing I liked there is Ms Grace and her professional way of work. She is good and also hotel cleaning ladies/staff were good. I would recommend Ms Grace to take over manager position and take care of the entire hotel and staff management. She is good at it.
Worst food served here.. We had dinner @ 9 but they don't serve chutney.. we asked and they provide frozen chutney (wasted one) sambar also morning made one.. Worst veg food.. health dept should take action on them for providing wasted foods..
THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR NON SMOKERS!- The hotel is good, prime location, services and even their restaurant is very good. But what is extremely hypocritic of this hotel, is the fact that they have a sign that says: No Smoking, No consumption of Alcohol, and Playing cards is not permitted in the hotel, but guests that come here, and then Smoke. We have complained about this to hotel management, yet they haven't heard our pleas, instead saying that they cannot do anything about this since the guests are doing it. Then what is the point of putting that sign within the premises? Remove the sign if the Management themselves are not willing to follow their own set up rules. What about other guests that have severe health issues and cannot stand the smell that comes from smoking? The guests leave their door open just so we non-smokers can smell it and ruin our Heath also. Thank you Laura Paradise for NOT following your own set of rules.
The Laura Paradise is conveniently located but approach roads are not that much great. The whole building might have developed over the years and one can't find a symmetry. The cleanliness is just ok need improvise. The management should keep few plates in room as ordered food are given in pockets and not easy to eat without a proper plate. There's scope for improvement
