Latha Rajagopalan Hospital - Children's hospital in Velur - Namakkal, India

I don't recommend this hospital. Because I went with my 3 year old child today. She is suffering from fever when we went to hospital she is vommited in waiting area.. This Doctor run to her room like anything it's very irritated to me and even nurse also didn't take good care to patients.. They told me to clean their room it's ok for me to clean wherever my child is vommited.. But in today's world even in hospital we need to well dressed and childrens also need to well dressed even she suffered from fever or diarrhoea or anything... And also she is not allowed us to enter her room... She come to waiting area to check my child... I do know what to say...

Doctor with divine heart and decades of experience in baby care/Pediatrics field. Dr. Latha Rajagopalan was very kind and caring towards the babies. Despite of some mixed reviews, personally my journey with our new born hospitalisation for 4 days was so smooth and caring. After a long time, seen a true service minded Doctor. Without a second thought I can blindly say a best doctor/Pediatrician for infants and child care in the town with affordable consultation fee.

The hospital is clean and the doctor approaches friendly with children. Not too much waiting time. The reception staff take too much time processing the bill and giving the medicines and receipt.

I know this physician for last 13 years and she is really good in kids care. Had a recent visit for my son and Covid-19 preventive measures were really good. Though parents are not allowed inside the patient's clinical/checking area but she came to me and answered all my questions plus she did explain about my son's problems. It is nice to see she is trying to take all possible measures not to Contract and/or Spread this virus to others especially in a rural area like this.

I went there 2 days ago with my kid. Appointment was at 6pm. but doctor came at 6.45pm. till the doctor arrival, the nurses nevere let us inside the hospital. we were waiting outside of the hospital fro 5.45pm. They asked about my profession and working place. Since i was working in Chennai, I told the same thing, But they didnt ask about when u travelled to native, or not my village name (Actually i travelled 3 months before and i took the corona test also with negative result.). After I told about my professional Place then their way of treating the child got entirely different. They treated us very badly and never answered properly to our questions. Really bad experience. If i can give negative rating, I would have opted for that.

Can't believe this is a child care. Worst behavior towards parents. Personally I felt a worst experience with the doctor and wont recommend. Doctor don't even have a patience to listen what parents trying to convey.

I had visited this hospital for my baby(1year old) a month back on Sunday evening. Thanks doctor for giving us appointment as all hospitals were closed on that day..We were already wearing mask but they suggested to buy a mask in their medical.. We had tough time there to wear mask for our baby as they didn't allow baby inside without mask.. We were disappointed as they treated us and my baby like Corona patients..
