Good hotel. They could do better in the food and service dept. Half of the menu was unavailable. They kitchen staff did not want to take any initiative or effort. We were denied something as simple as black dal for dinner on requesting even 5 hours prior to the dinner time. It was finally arranged by the manager who had to force the kitchen staff to make the same. Pool was also dirty.
It's a great place to spend your vacation.. Staff and manager are very well behaved. Food quality is good. Rooms are very spacious.
We stayed in a pool side suite room and booked the resort for 2 nights. It has a great ambience and my stay was fantastic.

(Manager of the property) to make our stay so comfortable, superb service. We stayed in Premium Rooms. balcony is awesome to say, 15 people can dine and party. The rooms are spacious, very neat and clean. Staffs are very well Mannered and humble, Thank you. Food was tasty and hygiene is properly maintained. Breakfast is complementary which is really enough variety to eat. Washroom is very clean and spacious. All the room amenities were provided. mini fridge is there. Swimming pool is big and properly maintained, we have enjoyed the best. Worth staying in the Resort. Visit Sundarban, Stay at Larica inn and relax.. Highly Recomended.

I really liked the Hotel and its service....The food is really tasty...behavior of the staffs is great....The main hotel is just fabulous...
But, I have a suggestion to the Travellers who will book boat through them: Never accept Biswajit's boat....ask for any other boat....first of all, biswajit's boat is very very dirty and Biswajit is a greedy and shroud person...He will over over charge you in the food ( so much over charge that any 5 ster hotel will get shame)..I felt like getting scammed by him... and the food was too much spicy...we had stomach problem....he was charging the honey rs.600 per kg..whereas it is available at Rs.300...totally disgusting fellow....
Take my advice and avoid biswajit's boat...there are other boatman tied to the hotel...ask for them...you will have really enjoyable trip....

The project didn't consider the environment. It could have been better if they considered eco resort. High priced. Under staffed, and during the breakfast time there was unavailability of food, and high waiting time.
Terrific experience! Reaching here bit problem, but we later knew there are boat providers who drove you till the front gate of this resort. They arrange boat for sundarban safari, however it is mandatory to have a boat booked a day before.

The rooms were clean and service was adequate. My major complaint is concerning the food. I was told by the manager that the availability of ingredients is a major concern and the supply of ingredients is entirely dependent on their shipments from Kolkata. While that is understandable, I am not sure why they have an elaborately long menu with items like Pork chop Normandy. They could have just printed a menu with basic food items which are available at all times. The incredibly long menu had none of the items available. It would take 5-10 minutes of phone calls and consultations with the chef and restaurant staff to determine what food items could actually be prepared. Despite that we would often receive an incorrect order.
One morning we were denied fried eggs or omelette. This issue was resolved after speaking with the manager the next day. While larica is a nice place to stay, their F&B service requires a lot of improvement.
