The museum contains fabulous collection of sculptures and paintings including the sculpture of God and goddess to jain tirthankar ect. The painting section includes the miniature painting hand written script and also hand weaved artifacts representing the art and traditional round the country. Those who are really interested in knowing the sculptures of different eras should must visit this place onces and even there are some great stuff for the people loving painting, traditional crafts and sculptures.

It is an extraordinarily curated museum with a huge variety of display items from paintings to stone to bronze statues. Would recommend phoning in a day or two before to get a guided tour which starts at 11A.M. everyday. The staff is super helpful and sweet too.

It's an amazing museum with a pretty interesting exhibit. Many exhibits are well preserved and full of information. Its paradise for historical and architectural knowledge seekers. The marble sculptures can date back to the 2nd century B. C. There are also some metal Sculptures of different ages. The paintings consist of different Era's, they are painted on both paper and clot scroll. There is also a coin collection of different empires. The entry is free and is open to all. As they have a no photography policy you will have to personally go and have a look at the collection. And if you are lucky you can also see a few peacocks outside the museum.

Apparently one of the finest museums in the city. Staff is pretty friendly and the museum is not crowded usually.

No entry fees, renovated museum , stunning structural design of roof and Concrete structures. Well ventilated building , first floor also available. All over india sculpture and painting collector and his belongings available.

The collection of Sculptures and Paintings and Coins is Amazing. The atmosphere is very quiet and dark and yet enjoyable. The place is very clean and the staff is well mannered and helpful. If you appreciate art, do visit with more hours in hand. My time flew away looking into minute details and carving that's why I'll have to visit again, for getting lost into details of beautiful paintings. I want to thank the management from the bottom of my heart for providing such an excellent place for art lovers in Ahmedabad. A request, photography is not allowed inside the Museum, kindly avoid it. Well maintained and a lovely place for all the artists. They have collections of ancient statues, old hand paintings, coins from the centuries etc. It's free to visit the museum. Worth a visit. No photography is allowed inside the museum. There is a beautiful jain temple outside the museum and the pics belong to that.
