This place is near to bikramkhol, so you can cover both places and especially this place is so calm and peaceful that would would prefer to stay here near the river bank to get some mental peace. Lal means red color, and pathar means stone. Its called Lalpathar because the sides of the river are covered with red stones. Its a good place to take your stuff and cook there - like a picnic.
A serene place to go and enjoy your day. Good for picnic. Lots of spots for picnic purpose. The only disappointment was broken glasses of drinks and much of litters.
