This hill probably extends from Lakhisarai to the river via Hasanpur village. People here say that there used to be a king's palace in this hill. And there is a secret way from inside this palace.
Need to maintain this very valuable site.
Most beautiful & historical place
I have read about this archaeological site in many news article. There's a very big monastery on summit of the small hillock and if there is a Buddhist monastery there's ought to be a stupa as well nearby. This whole area is considered important with a viewpoint of Buddhism. Buddha had passed through this place before attaining supreme knowledge. Balgudar, Nongarh,etc are the nearby places which are under archaeological examination. Really good initiative to unearth our proud history and thanks to Sir Anil Kumar of Vishwa Bharti University for this initiative. It would be a great addition to the heritage sites of Bihar along with Rajgir,Nalanda,Vikramshila,Vaishali,Laurya Nandangarh,etc. Couldn't really wait to visit this beautiful site.
ROOMS ARE NEAT AND CLEAN. ELECTRICITY IS AVAILABLE ALL THE TIME. MANAGER AND STAFF ARE VERY HUMBLE. VISIT THIS HOTEL, MAZA AA JAYEGA. TAKE REASONABLE MONEY , NOT TOO MUCH COSTLY.
