The place is beautiful and has a calm environment. The scenic beauty is similarly picturesque to ladakh.
The place is very beautiful. But the way you come down to the riverside is very steep and dangerous. Especially for elderly people. So be careful while coming down. The place also needs cleaning. But all that aside, when you get down to the riverside, the view is just gorgeous . Good for picnic . The parking is available for free. Highly recommended

Beautiful picnic sport. I visited this place on January 13th 2023 and enjoyed it a lot. I go there with my college friends. This place is near the India- Bhutan border. The place is very very good. The view is fabulous. The overall experience is so good and nice.
This is a great place to visit especially in winter it's a very good place for picnic .You can see the Bhutan bridge from here.From Siliguri to Lal Jhamela Basti road is very good it's full of tea gardens you'll enjoy the ride. You can easily come with a motorcycle . Note: If you come with elderly people for a picnic they will face difficulty going down (towards the river bed).And the monsoon water level of the river will be very high so it will be dangerous to go down (although you can enjoy the nature) .
