Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium - Playground in Kollam - Kollam, India

This multi-purpose stadium is located at Cantonment area in Kollam city. Established in 1988 this stadium is suitable for playing football,cricket &athletics. It has seating facilities to hold approximately 10,000people. The stadium has hosted Santosh Trophy Football & Ranji Trophy Matches. The Sports Authority of India is having a training centre in this stadium. Lack of proper maintenance from the part of the concerned authorities is visible here.

Need more improvement on the ground been working out there for almost 5 years still no improvement grounds should be for sports activities and healthy lifestyle instead political function and other ceremonies are being held inside the stadium ground would like the public and the government to take action. Not even a good toilet in the stadium,all children and grown ups pass the urine in the ground beacuse of this situation which causes bad hygiene been giving 2 stars just for the love and respect for the ground as a sports person

Good place for track training. Should provide lighting and synthetic track. Basic things like toilet should be provided for public. Kollam Corporation is a failure

It's a corporation stadium. It hosts football matches, tennis matches, volleyball game,badminton matches, basketball game and all athletic events. It's a nice place develope our sports potential. Moreover it's a place for morning walk jogging. Training are conducted for boxing, football, handball, skating and for all athletic event. This stadium also hosts many sports events conducted by schools, colleges, govement and nongovernmental institutions.

A good place to play football in the morning.

Im not sharing the experience in stadium . But about the experience of Tea and Juice stall outside the stadium . They had different varieties of juices and snack items .with affordable price . That place makes our mind peaceful , especially from evening . This place was nearby Kollam Railway Station

Very vast stadium. Neat and clean. Good atmosphere.
