Lalbaug palace is a beautiful historic place that belonged to Holkar family. It has a history attached to it. It is so well designed and carved. The interiors look intricate and very beautiful. It's amazing to see the dining place, the meeting place and many more such rooms so beautifully done. Must visit!!

I usually don't go to palaces but this one was the one. It's not a huge palace but indeed most beautiful. The designs and the interior really amazed me. Since it was built somewhere around 1900 year, it totally gives the British colonial era vibes. Worth a visit though!

A lovely palace in the mid of Indore City. Can visit with family and friends. Couple friendly. Minimum parking charges. Right now renovation work is going on. But can visit lower portion of the palace.Majestic royal residence, rich history, and intricate architecture. A must-visit for culture aficionados despite occasional maintenance concerns.

Every city has some 'nishani' from the British Era, either built by the British themselves or built by our Maharaja's for their pleasure. Lal Bagh Palace is a similar place. Nicely maintained and still renovation work on. When we visited the place, the ground floor was open, but the floor above was closed due to renovations. The entire place takes about 20 minutes to see if you generally take a stroll inside, but may take 35-40 minutes if you want to read all the standees inside. The various dinning halls, ball rooms, study rooms are a piece of art in itself. Ticket costs Rs. 20/- for adults.

We visited this place on Sunday. Great architecture and nice location with a fascinating view. Inside the palace, we visited the assembly place, library etc. The dining hall was big enough. If you're visiting Indore, you must visit Lal Bagh Palace.

One of the greatest palaces located in Indore city must visit with your family and friends. You will fall in love with architecture in the early 1830s. Everything is maintained very well and guides will give you deeper details

Good old palace for a quick trip. No much special things to see such as other major Palaces around India. Its ok if you take a quick trip. Costs Rs 20 per pax as entry. Do not expect any kind of gardens or parks inside. Majority of the landscape is not maintained well.
