Lakshmi Hospital - Private hospital in Palakkad - Palakkad, India

My father was admitted due to chest pain he was referred from railway hospital as this is the referral hospital as per the policy. Doctor was prompt and thankgod achan is okay now. All the doctors associated with us ,nursing staffs and even security staffs cleaning staffs were really good . However over all hospital administration is pathetic .especially when you came wit insurance.they wil charge hefty and absolutely no bill provided . Room facility is too bad they charged 4600 for ac room telling that no other rooms are available and they wont provide even bed sheet and blanket for the patient. Lady sitting at the insurance table is too rude to the customers.she said you need to pay 10000 for the room for total 3 days after deducting insurance coverage. When i asked for bill she said you pay first then wil provide bill ,but nothing provided asked me to come another day.thats the professional behaviour they follow. even in cloth shop and vegitable shops they wil provide bill. Not sure how much they incurred from railway as treatment expenses!!

My self and my mother came to Lakshmi hospital by early morning for routine health check up. After check up there s no Doctor available for verifying the report. No Doctor available at casualty also. When I discussed with the insurance team as our case is tie up with insurance, Mrs Vinaya..... Very bitter experience. Pls for any check ups or emergencies don't visit Lakshmi Hospital. Doctors not available. Feeling very much upset. #Intervention needed on this on priority to Management and team.

Lakshmi Hospital Annex - Courtesy of staff which should be mentioned first. Every entity ie Nursing,Cleaning or even security has same way of approach. Dr Praveen was very down earth and has patience in explaining conditions and procedure done. WHICH IS REALLY OVERWHELMING. Nurses are really helpfull and always at our assistance.

We had a good experience at the hospital.very good doctors and a excellent nurses at Anex 2 nd floor Special thanks to ,radhika Smrithi,kriba, mruthila,baby chandran and surya,sujatha sisters who took a good care of me and were soo friendly

Normal room was too short and wall covered half bricks and half transparent glass. So we couldn't sleep at night due to neighbour room boy was cried and always they are turn on light. Then the toilet was full of mosquitoes. Hospital management should be fix mosquito net inside the toilet window.

Worst hospital management and services, Bad nursing service (Gynecology ward nurses) not even bothered to teach the patients and bystanders how to do postpartum care . Very bad experience for me as well as my sister. At my time atleast there was one nurse who was good enough to show how to do postpartum care( how to tie cloth around stomach , how to take care for the stitch after csection etc) but for my sister it was the worst , they will just come around the time to give medicine , that's the only task they are doing. Don't even deserve 1 star.

This hospital is located on the way to Manappullikavu temple. It's just 1 km from fort maidan and approx 2.5 km from Palakkad town bus stand. With respect to the treatment they offer (based on my personal experience related to heart disease), amount wise, treatment is too costly (not surgery, just putting stent) and also it was not worthy or its very in-effective too. I would say it's just a first aid centre and i wont recommend it to anyone. They have small canteen facility available. They have tie up with some of the insurance companies. They have added one more building opposite to the existing one. One of the main diagnostics lab is operating in the ground floor of their new building. Note: I would suggest Sun Heart Hospital in Thrissur (again my personal experience) which provided a great treatment and due to which my dad is still healthy. Just with one third of the amount I spent in Lakshmi hospital, I was able to successfully do the open heart surgery for my dad.

We had a beautiful experience at Lakshmi Hospital, especially thanks to the caring nature of Nurses Nisha and Sanjana. They truly exemplified the meaning of hospitality and care. Our angioplasty treatment was a wonderful experience
