A family of 4 can be seated. The food is homely. Literally it's their home and an extension is made to accommodate the customers. Oil is a bit more in dishes otherwise it's good especially the sambar.

The person in charge - Appukutty is a big time looter. I am new to palakkad, so we stayed in a hotel and this restaurant was nearby so we used to go to eat breakfast there. He used to charge us nominally. One plate idly was for 30, then one plate dosa was 40, even sevai was served at Rs. 35 etc.... We went there for 4-5 days continuously. So one day he asked where are we staying. We told him the name of the hotel we are staying in. He asked how much it costs & we mentioned that also. Till that day he only charged us nominal amount for food. After he knew we stayed in a good hotel, the next day we went to eat curd rice (3 plates) at the restaurant and he said the bill is Rs. 450. We were shocked to see such response from him. Upon asking on why is it Rs. 450, he mentioned the rates increased and his behavior towards us changed.. Basically he looted us for money. He is a cheat who will loot people. Will never ever go to his restaurant anymore. People be aware. This person is there to steal our money.
If you want the food to be served from heart, this is the place. I have never seen a single staff without wearing a smile on his face. Very accomodative and friendly. Had meals fee times and taste and quality is very good. Ample parking space and rig
