My worst nightmare came true the day I decided to get my hair treatment done from Lakme Aliganj! The fake google review ratings misled my decision. If there would have been an option to give less than 1 star I would have rated that! Back in 2019, I had the hair smoothening treatment done from Lakme Vikasnagar and I had a great experience there. I live in Aliganj, Lucknow so thought of going for a nearby Lakme (looking at the google reviews I considered this one to be a safe option). I wanted to get the Keratin treatment for my hair but on querying about this treatment at Lakme Aliganj, receptionist suggested that Keratin treatments are not available in Lakme, but they have Cycteine treatment which is a more natural treatment. On the day of treatment, hair expert suggested to go for QoD treatment instead, since it would have more closer results to Keratin. The overall price for this treatment was Rs 8500 + taxes. My hair got tragic from the next day I got this treatment. In the name of protein treatment, all it does is give super oily hair from next day of hair wash itself. I was visiting my parents when I got this treatment in Lucknow and had to return back to Canada a week after. Weather in Canada is super dry so I thought my hair will be better here but no use, its been 3 months and I've been living with super oily hair all the time. In addition, number of white hair have increased exponentially and no limit to the hair fall after this treatment. My recommendation to everyone is if you don't want to destroy your hair permanently never ever get any hair treatment done from Lakme Aliganj! On reaching back to them with the issues I've been facing, they would ask for the pictures as proof. And even after giving them the pictures on how my hair look on first, second and third day after the hair wash, they'd just provide some lame advices from their hair experts that do not improve the hair condition at all. I wish I know a way to Sue lakme for the damage they have done to my hair, but to the very least I want my money back for this treatment. I've been reaching them again and again, but all they do is to suggest to some hair expert or the other. So far its been 3 months and I haven't gotten my money back yet! I read various blogs and got feedback for others on QoD treatment and the results that I see on my hair is not at all expected from this treatment. So the bottomline is Lakme Aliganj don't even know the right way of treating hair (my suspicion is they've applied more than the required amount of chemical on my hair) and would not take the guarantee/responsibility of the end results.

I recently had my hair cut at Lakme Salon, Aliganj. Shantanu did a wonderful job. He listened to all my concerns regarding my hair and the end result was excellent. I would highly recommend Shantanu at Lakme Salon for hair styling.
