If you are coming from Guwahati by NH 15 then turn towards Barichowka Patharighat road from Sipajhar and then from Barichowka go straight towards Mahaliapara and from Mahaliapara you can take help of Google map to reach this place. On the way you will get Burhinagar Pukuhri (Pond), you may stop there for a moment. Lakhimpur Pukhuri is famous for different species of fishes. Fisheries is a one kind of business by which the localites getting a chance of earning. This is a popular picnic spot during winter sessions and you can plan to visit this place along with your family, friends or with loved ones to spend some quality times. The Authority and the tourism department must initiate steps to develop the infrastructure of this area to attract visitors and protecting this historical place. A must visit.

Very beautiful scenic area . U can spent quality time with ur partner. There is also sitting arrangement in the bank of d pond. U can also enjoy with ur family , friends n children. On d bank of d pond u can plant picnic n enjoy ur meal with natural beauty.

Very nice place to chill during summer, but its starting to fill with plastic wrappers all though dustbins are provided people rather throw wherever they are done eating. Even smashed glass pieces are to be found so be careful and do not walk bare foot.

Very nice place. One the main tourist destination around the district. Well maintained pond, also people come over to avail fishes.
