Lakefront Cafe - Restaurant in Naukluchiatal - Nainital, India

When we went to cafe for breakfast, it was yet to be opened for the season as owner was not in town. Thus the rating is for inside and surroundings. This cafe is a small place within a hotel. We were offered seating inside the cafe and it was neat well maintained, colourful with every corner of the space reflecting a colour and becoming part of overall theme. Must visit if your are in Naukuchiyatal and have some colourful pics here. Parking can be tough during peak season.

Nice cafe with a view of the lake... The cafe was closed for maintenance but they served us coffee anyhow... It was a nice gesture and we were served some Sohan Papadi as well

Such a decoration test, and the perfect view Of Nainital. This cafe is especially Famous for the best view. As well as the taste of the food and the service men, are always there to assist you with a smile on their face. Loved this place for the best vibe. If you are in Nainital, then this place is a must visit place.

I had ordered 5 boiled eggs and two omelettes and two teas. The price on the menu was 70rs for omelettes but i was charged 120 rs. When I asked why I'm being charged so much extra I was told the menu I was given was meant for people already living in hotel rooms: in short it wasn't a restaurant menu. Furthermore, I was given a torn 50 rs note which was glued. It was a stormy evening and the restaurant had power outage so it wasn't a well lit place and I trusted the cashier and took the money in my pocket. Th next morning I saw I was given a torn note. Seriously how low some businesses can be with tourists. For them we the tourists are just money making machine. The next day I felt like being looted as not only I was charged extra unethically but also the money given as change was torn too.

The ambience was really good. Food was not extraordinary (as per what they charge). Infact they charge more than their menu price saying that they change the prices according to the market price. The cafe doesn't seem too old then how is that even justified!!! Veg noodles written was 180 while they charged 250...not pleased with such gimmics.

One of the best located cafe on Naukuchiatal Lake. Good food and beverages . Have both interior and outdoor sitting. Absolutely loved the interior decor of the cafe -very chic warm and inviting. The exterior of the cafe and the hotel is also very good , painter in lovely colours and well decorated with a lot of plants and flowers

Food was Ok..but the view was wonderful...it is just in front of Naukuchiya Taal...very peaceful..away from street noise...can sit there for hours...

Wonderful place but the cheesy fries looks funny. Cheese not even melted on top. Such a beautiful looking restaurant with one thing that lets you down. Thank you anyway
