After the Coorg mountain pass, you would be seeing this hotel. I had tea from here, which is good. Staffs are good, they can talk multiple languages. And the view from here is bliss. Pros: - Neat & clean - Good behavior from the Staffs - View from the hotel is calm - Adequate car parking space Negatives: - Not well-maintained bathroom facilities

Food is ok not too great.. very bad service we place order for porota fish curry, chicken curry, dal tadka and ghee rice we had to wait for 45min.. later we received chicken curry with hair and ghee rice ice cold.. if your hungry don't visit this place u will die in hungry.. one good thing is it's pocket friendly..

Had a chance to visit this restaurant and take of sip of coffee after driving through the forest and anyone traveling through kannur to coorg or bangalore will find this restaurant as a convenient option to get charged themselves from the coffee n tea provided and having relaxation before a long drive. Moderately crowded with travellers... snack n other options r there..

An ambiance restaurant as reference of the name of the restaurant, there's a view of lake infront. An average tasty foods are delivered here. Better customer service,. I will prefer a lime tea or can have any hot drinks you like tea coffee ect... And walk to the opposite side and just relax Evening to mornings are the best time to get a misty climate (Cigarettes are available here)

Nice restaurant and the best scenery from there....Everyone love that place..No traffic , no rush , at the forest makes everyone happy and good... its a starting of coorg...Nice foods...good parking Facilities and good for groups..We stopped over for a dinner here. The place is clean and spacious. Friendly staff and quick service. Clean toilets were just bonus. Food is very reasonably priced and tastes good. Highly recommended for travelers.

This is a decent restaurant on the Thalassery Mysore highway and is located a few kilometres after the Kerala-Karnataka Checkpost at Makutta on the Karnataka side. I visited this restaurant for having lunch on 1st week of Jan2022 while returning from Kannur. This is one of decent restaurant among the few available in that region. It is located in midst of a scenic hilly region and infront of a small lake. There is hardly any telephone network at this place. They had no hardcopy of a menu , but one of the staff mentioned whatever was present at that time. The options were very minimal. Biriyani, 2-3 veg & nonveg curries, maida porotta, and 2-3 kinds of rice along with a couple of fresh fruit juices. We ordered for ghee rice, chicken curry , veg curry and orange juice. The taste of the food was average . They had a hand wash place and a separate washroom area located towards the outside of the hotel. The washrooms were clean. There is no dedicated parking at this place but you have ample place to park beside the main road , opposite to the restaurant. The first floor of the restaurant has a glass wall and view from the floor is amazing, But it becomes very hot during noon. This is a non-ac restaurant. The hotel compound had other shops like a tea shop, and and general store. Overall its an average pittstop place if you are travelling to and fro from Kannur. The location is scenic and you get all the basic amenities.

It's nice to have food from here. The food is tasty and the only issue I faced was with the mobile network and the payment option they have is either cash or UPI. But due to network issues, UPI won't suffice. If we take the first floor, then we can have an ambient view of the POND in front of the restaurant. I suggest the name should be Pond View . Everything was fine. Plenty of road side parking, food, atmosphere, cleanliness. Please be careful with payment. Don't rely on UPI here. JIO & AIRTEL were not having a network as of today.

A nice hotel with awesome view. While driving down Coorg early morning this can be a life saviour due to clean toilets :D Haven't tasted main course. Tea and snacks were good. Friendly staff with pleasent smile. Items are reasonably priced. Try to sit outside where you can enjoy the serene nature . River and hills gives a nice feel . Nicely decorated interiors too
