Out of the world experience... go local, have local. Recommend having lunch meals fish along with veg curries. We had a late lunch fortunately there was fresh home cooked food available. Thanks to our boat guide for cally& checking the availability.

We just had four fishes each for Rs .100/-. Tasty and worthy. Such a wonderful location. Pet lovers will love this place, as more than 4 friendly dogs would be there. These dog won't disturb the people

I haven't visited this place but was able to see it while travelling from Alleppey to Kottayam.

We had 20 minutes gap between arriving by the Kottayam Alappuzha boat and leaving by 1300 hours Alappuzha Kottayam boat. We had mashed kappa (tapioca/cassava) with fish curry and fried anchovies. Amazingly delicious and nice people there!

They good tasty food. They cook in front of you. You can do fishing.

Keep the hygiene thoughts aside while having food here. Also service goes for a toss when the same person is cooking, serving , doing dishes, arranging tables, pulling boats. Now the good part. Karimeen Fish fry. (6 fishes of varying sizes),Prawns fry, Fish curry , rice, papad. Everything for 1350. Cannot find words to explain how tasty the fish fry was. Fish Gravy was also amazing. Prawns fry was decent. Being a fish lover I try every opportunity to try different fishes. This fish is right on top of the list. This place is located in middle of Lake Vembanad. Reached here by Boat.

Simple and affordable food. Prawns were yummy though spicy. Sitting near the lake is awesome. Breeze on your face and peaceful surrounding make you feel amazing. Though there is no option fr vegetarian but the simple ok meal

Wow.. This will go as to THE MOST Memorable restaurant meal my family and I have had this past month.. Even beating meals we had in Mumbai, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur! Maybe I am biased coz I am malayalee:-)
