During my recent visit to my native village I had the opportunity to experience the delightful charm of a local home stay. Having spent most of my time in the hustle and bustle of city life I was yearning for a much-needed break in a serene and tranquil environment. Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes the home stay was a perfect getaway from the chaotic city life. As soon as I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the host family who treated me as if I were a part of their own. Their hospitality was heartwarming and they made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The accommodation itself was beautifully designed blending traditional elements with modern amenities. The room I stayed in was cozy and spacious offering a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. The bed was incredibly comfortable allowing me to have a restful sleep and wake up rejuvenated each morning. The warm hospitality delicious cuisine and breathtaking surroundings made it a truly remarkable stay. I would highly recommend a visit to a home stay for anyone seeking a peaceful escape and an authentic cultural experience.

This place is a heaven to stay in! You can be rest assured.. balan uncle is very kind and humble. There is a lot of open space and the rooms are like a 5 star hotel but homely. I would definitely love to visit again.

Lake view Homestay is a perfectly located property, right at the shore of the beautiful valiaparambu backwaters. Mr Balan, the owner, is a super host. He took very good care of our group of friends when we stayed there over the weekend , going out of his way to make us feel comfortable- even to the extent of going out to buy biscuits for us . The rooms are very clean and the entire first floor which we occupied well taken care of. The food is simple and tasty and Mr Balan had no problem in providing our groups cups of tea on demand :) strongly recommend this Homestay especially if travelling in a group

We had such an amazing time during our stay at lake view homestay. Coming for a night we ending up staying four days. The food was honestly incredible, the hosts attentive and the location unimaginably beautiful. We spent the days walking through local villages, swimming in the ocean and taking boat trips on the backwaters. Should be a must for anyone looking for authentic serenity!

The stay at Lake view was very warm and comforting due to the outstanding helpful nature of Mr. Balan. The timely guidance and help he provides goes a long way in making the visit a memorable and holistic one. He has a positive answer for every query and for us it was because of him that we could experience the Theyyam ritual at 4 a.m. at a faraway temple .... we'll cherish the memories of this blessed experience all our life. And last but not the least...the rooms are clean, the views are great, the ambience is blissful and the breakfast prepared by Mr. Balan's wife is a treat to savour.

Beautiful and serene stay in front the backwater lake. The hot and delicious breakfast makes it more comfortable.Boats and autos are easily available.Beach is also to a walkable distance! What a warm hospitality from the hosts! All in all highly recommended for a wonderful stay in a reasonable price :)
