Average fecilities, it's just beside the Tungabadra back waters The Tungabhadra Dam, also known as Pampa Sagar, is a water reservoir constructed across the Tungabhadra River in the city of Hosapete in Vijayanagara district, Karnataka, India. It is a multipurpose dam serving irrigation, electricity generation, flood control, etc. for the state. It is one of the only two non-cement dams in India, the other being the Mullaperiyar Dam in Kerala. The dam is built of surki mortar, a combination of mud and limestone, commonly used at the time of its construction.

It's very good experience with a water waves and peaceful wind

I wouldn't think it's a family tourist destination but if you're seeking some lone time, you will be satisfied.. Could memorable visit if you are there early in the morning or the evenings. Under the sun, not a fun place as the are no trees to rest under. But the view is pretty awesome.

This is my birth place.. born and brought up here.. most beautiful place.. for me it's heaven on earth... lakeview guest house is next to the reservoir. Morning sun rise and evening sun set are mind blowing to watch... overall it's a must visit place.

Guest House is situated beside the back water of TB dam, need book before couple of days, it seems to be only for government officers. The view of Dam is really awesome and very calm. Evening is the best time to spend here with family and friends. One must see the sun set moment

I lve this place because my childhood was spent there only and nice place to feel relaxed on weekends it will be crowded but on working days so much silence cool breeze nice relexation in chidhood I visitted gates model room daily before nice place cool can enjoy during summer nice and I aa proud of that I live in this beautiful place

It's just awesome ... scenery is best and best time to visit is sunrise and sunset...when we sit on the rocks..we can literally feel the water touching our feet

Nice cherishing location.... Anyhow available on evry time but good to visit in rainy seasons because of nearby lake view... Greenry park cherishes one's mood, delights the feeling and nice point to take picture lovers, selfiee addicts.... It sud b one of must go location in the list....
