On 13th April, 2019, at around 3.50 pm near the face of VIP road Subway approaching to ultadanga at Bangur Avenue crossing, I, a senior citizen and a writer, was very confused about the bus route. I am generally a very soft spoken and humble person, I humbly asked a group of civic Police volunteers ( supposed to be working under Lake Town Police Station) along with two traffic police, that where is the bus stop. I could not hear a civic police person's voice talking from within the group, As I cannot hear in my right ear. I said sorry and then asked the concerned person again but surprisingly he started shouting on me with abusive languages. I really felt insulted and was shocked at this kind of attitudes from civic police personnel on duty. As a senior cultured and educated citizen, I am to seek your kind intervention to teach them how to behave with public when they are on duty. Hope Lake Town Police station and the lalbazar HQ would take necessary steps.
Dear Team, Due to Diwali in Bangur avenue every year huge number of crackers lightened & sound polluted & this year also same thing started from last Monday onwards to till Wednesday problem going on & as per request the lake town police team supported.
