Lake Sandynulla - Park in Sholur - The Nilgiris, India

When we visited,. It didn't have much water.. you have to walk around 500m to reach this place from the main road. Has got a well paved walkway to reach to the falls area. Beautiful lake.. with a scenic view.. Would be best when it has water.. Better to visit in the early morning or evening when the sun is not at it's peak..

It is also one of the beautiful lake near by ooty city on the way to pykara lake.I visited recently with my family to this place. Less crowd, science location and beautiful weather. Spent one hour and taken photos had some refreshment. Need to have personal vehicle to reach this place. 2km from main road.

Good place for peace and meditation. Locals often come here for fishing. Wild buffalo and horses can be found here, though they are harmless but still suggest to stay away from them.

A Scenic place on the way to ooty on Gudalur - Ooty Coimbatore Highway. Reached the location at around 6.30 AM, it was beautiful and peaceful. The entry onto the Dam was closed. Not very sure its open to public or not. could not see anyone around to check as it was early in the morning. Attaching few snaps.

One of the beautiful lake I ever spotted.Fresh blue,clean and calm water and the bank of the river is with Green lawn.Sitting on the lawn with horses roaming all over,Viewing the beauty of the lake,with cool breeze passing through you will make a memorable Experience for sure.If you are visiting Ooty.I say this is this Top most place and a must visit in Ooty Trip.Please find the snaps I clicked.
