Most beautiful most elegant and amazing place the owners are such warm and wonderful people

Lovely traditional property where we spent a few days as a group. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was included and was Kerala cuisine. The location was a 2-3 km from the Kadavantara Metro and autos were available nearby. The property is run by a very warm and friendly couple, Stella and Sebastian, who were very helpful throughout our stay. Would recommend for groups of upto 15.

A heritage house over 130 yrs old. Surrounded by a large courtyard with swings hung from a mango tree, birds chirping of birds. There is also a lake nearby. The rooms have AC and TV and running hot water from solar heaters. Breakfast is free and cooked in traditional Keralite style by the lady of the house. Very tasty and sumptuous. We enjoyed our stay here.

The house is beautiful from outside, it is maintained cleanly , very easy to reach and tasty authentic kerala breakfast. I had a good chat with aunty about the place and everything. But there are some things which I didnt like about the property . The inside of the house has mostly old fittings, one of the room given was dark ,no sunlight was coming. moderate space in room. the couple who are managing the property are not comfortable with dogs, even though it is said "pet friendly." my dog is very calm , dont even bark. wanted to keep my dog inside room for 2-3 hours, so that we can roam kochi. but owners strictly asked us to not keep dog inside. next day while we were calmly discussing it, the man came from nowhere and spoke very rudely saying dont argue it, thats our policy. also there are some rules like dont speak louder after 10 pm ,they close the door after 10 pm. , breakfast at 8 am, even though we stretched it to 9 .30 am but we used to get calls from them after 9 am if we are late. so overall no independence and too many rules to keep

The place has only 5 bedrooms, including one which is meant for 4 persons. Also, two of the other bedrooms have one common external shared bathroom. So 12 persons totally have to share 4 bathrooms. If you want an early morning bed tea/coffee, you have to make it yourself using the electric kettle provided on request, not by default. You have to arrange your own tea, coffee, milk, sugar. There is no paid help available for anything. The hosts guard their crockery and cutlery and don't make you feel welcome to use it. We booked the entire property for 3 nights as a wedding party. They charged us more than the sum total of all individual rooms. We realised this only after agreeing to the lumpsum rate. They said they don't provide breakfast when we book whole property because they wouldn't want to interfere with our privacy. They gave us paper plates and cups to use for food ordered on Swiggy. But every morning the hostess would plonk herself on a sofa, watching over us like a hawk. A wedding party is different from a picnic group, they all carry jewelry and money so we made a request not to allow any external labourer to be on the property for any kind of work. Instead of understanding our concern, the host took offence and asked us to vacate if we didn't like his worker loitering around. Sure enough, one of our mobile phones was stolen. In the midst of our enjoyment a tension was created because the consequences of losing a smartphone are worse than the phone itself. The host didn't produce that worker in front of us even after knowing what happened. This place is ok only for those who are on sightseeing spree, leaving every morning after breakfast and returning at night after dinner.

Best room service in Kerala, the management is very friendly, trusted and you be safe in their hands , also good hospitality in Cochin, also reasonable price.. Highly Recommend..

We stayed three nights at this beautiful home stay, the hosts are a pleasure and so helpful, and provide great recommendations on local places to eat and see. The rooms are very comfortable and have fans and air conditioning and mosquito protection screens. The home has a lovely outdoor area to spend time in and the homestay is very close to shops and transport options.
