Blue marine cruises. They have a small Fibre glass boat for 2500/- and a medium sized houseboat like boat for 4500 . The one hour ride is best enjoyed when there is high tide and the skipper will take you around the island. Though it may be a bit expensive but a one time experience is worth it. Mangrove forest at the side of periyar river, we can just see close if we tell the skipper , some pockets have small crabs running around. It's fun to watch there. Overall was a good experience. Better go way before noon when it's usually crowded or in the evening time when there is high tide and you can enjoy more of the River.
It was a wonderful experience. The staff were really helpful and the view during the boat ride was wonderful... Very calming experience... N the staff were a joy to be with... Got to see a few migratory birds as well ...

We have been doing the tour today with Lake bay cruises and with our driver Bijustours. It is a family business and the have faced many problems because the pandemic and the lack of tourists. Good place to visit in Kochi. Nice site seeing in cruise boat with variety of birds in mangroove Forest . A must visit place , please do not miss this . The staffs and drive cum guide ( Anand ) treated us in good way. Thanks LAKE BAY CRUISES AND STAFFS !! HAPPY CRUISE .......

We felt it wasn't as good an experience, especially considering the price. Not really sure if people really enjoy this. It was a new experience for us so we kinda enjoyed. But it was pricey for the experience it provides
