Open space with great views. On a clear day you can see the village at the base of the valley. Great for sunsets. With clouds rolling in the place looks more Majestic and beautiful. Heavy clouds are mostly visible during the noon and clouds get lighter with the day .
The place was covered with mist and clouds and nothing could be viewed from the viewpoint. However, we didn't forget to click some good photos at this point. Need to go back to this beautiful place to get the amazing view that can be witnessed on a sunny day!
It's an excellent place to visit for all nature lovers if weather is clear otherwise mere waste to visit. Small eateries are available and pay & use toilet facilities are also there. U can choose the place as picnic spot.
Lovely place .A 1.5 hour journey from Shillong to visit to this lovely canyon .On every season there is a different view... You need to hire a car to this place as there is no public transport available from Shillong to visit this place...If you want to visit this place ,plan to visit early in the morning...then you will be able to see the clouds roaming here and there ..

This has a great view of the Canyon, with huge drops around to the sides. The view is breathing, though a bit scary with the brisk breeze when you are close to the edge. However , it is worth the effort to get there. I think it is 6700 ft above see level and taken about an hour to get there from Shillong. The location has dome rooms you can rent, or if you're really adventurous, you can camp out at the summit. When we went, a number of small shops were open selling basic food. It is Definitely worth the effort

Although there was clouds all over but still the view and the feel was great. Meghalaya in monsoon is a blessing to your body and eyes.
