I had an amazing stay! Comfortable bed in a clean and good-looking room. I loved the interior and the canopy view. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff really friendly. I also felt very safe.
It was cozy, and felt like home, a rescue dog lives there named Paprika but I spent very less time there so couldn't meet her. Beautiful n antique interior design. Some restrictions were there but it was just to maintain hygiene. We couldn't eat food in the room. There was a dining table in the common area for that purpose.
Very nice place when visiting Bangalore. The city itself can be very busy, and Laika's is the perfect place to unwind. The staff is super friendly and helpful, breakfast is included and very tasty. There are some shops around if you need something small. Also try the Durga dosa street food place around the corner!
Rooms are ok. Water offered is from a dispenser. Breakfast they buy from nearby restaurant, food served to us was cold.

I spent 5 days in Laika and I was just great! -you feel protected by the nice shade of the trees, which brings a feeling of peace -breakfasts are delicious! -beautiful and clean rooms -perfect location!
If you're looking for Pet Friendly place, THIS IS NOT IT. There are separate pet charges (500/day + our room charges) that the owner needs in cash, charges are only for keeping the pet with us, my little puppy wasn't even allowed outside the room. Moreover, if this is a pet friendly place, it should have at least 1 dedicated area for the pets but everything (limited) was only allowed to humans. The rooms are clean & fine, but that's only because every guest has a lot of restrictions to keep in mind. Laundry, Cleaning, etc amenities aren't provided by default and if you want to use these services, you'll have to go and find someone in authority. If you want to have a good stay, go without pet & expect restrictions on a massive level.
