Ladies Hostel (GJR Residency for womens) - Girl's Hostel in Chennai - Chennai, India

I am staying here from past one month. Actually the location name needs to get changed to boys hostel. The rooms are more spacious and all rooms are only 2 sharing with attached big wordrobes with locks and wash room with geyser. All rooms are Ac and if we don't require it. No need to use it. Based upon our electricity bill we need to pay it separately. Food is good and menu is mostly of North Indian dishes like roti, pulka. No need to carry a plate here.. They will only provide you like in hotel and they will only wash the plates in a hygienic area. Instead of common Wi-Fi. We will be having individual room WiFi. Which is a good concept Here are the Charges 9k per month plus electricity charges. 5k advance and it is fully refunded without any deductions.

Very worst and unsafe hostel in chennai. Owner is money minded and will never return your advance amount. I lost nearly Rs.2500.They are zero on cleanliness. Food quality is very low,they reuse old oils many times. The place stinks when you enter. Broken cupboards and water comes dirty always. Hostel is always open with a fake CCTV. Anyone can enter your rooms anytime.No keys or locks for the doors. Very worst experience

Actually iam impressed with this hostel with good reviews and booked for staying with my two friends and also paid advance amount. But it was a worst experience in my life. Actually only one person give the correct review about this hostel. I will share the real images of the room which i got. The owner is only look monetary benefit and we lost near Rs. 1500 eventhough we are not staying atleast one hour in that place.. So iam strongly reccomended to other girls for not choosing this one.

The hostel is worth the money you pay for. The locality is the best, many shops are near by and the main road is just a min walk away. Decent room, foods are available on time and the owner is kind.

This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge. Breakfast is good and a real bonus is a 6.30pm snack, which can range from puffs to some lovingly prepared sandwiches. The hostel is closed off everyday between 11am and 2pm for cleaning but the owners are very flexible on that rule, just inform them first if you need to get some stuff done, but anyway at that time you should be exploring the wonderful city of Florence. It's location is in the industrial and techy heart of Florence and it's an easy walk to get anywhere but it's on a side street, right opposite the bus stop, and easily can be travelled to near and there. Finally Owner is very much maintaining the rooms clean and hygienic.

I am fully satisfied with this residence. It is very near to the bus stop. They are providing food as per the requirement and security also very good.I am so impressed with everything about this residence, most importantly the management and staff. They are kind, responsive, knowlegeable, helpful, hardworking, and committed to highest quality standards. Thanks to one and all.

This is The WORST Hostel i have ever seen, We had pre-booked the rooms and paid an advance of 3000 for 1 week and after reaching the place,we realised that,it's not at all clean;such a dirty place.we immediately asked for a refund which they denied and refused to pay back the Full amount. IRRESPONSIBLE and IGNORANT Behaviour by the Owner made us disappointed as well.NEVER EVER choose this Hostel.
