La Veggie located at Sukh Sagar, Girgaum Chowpatty is paradise for vegetarian food lovers. They serve the best of comfort food across different cuisines - Indian, Mexican, Italian, Asian. You name it and you shall find it. Talking about what all we tried - Masala Khichiya (5/5) - Really Good La Veggie Coin (4/5) - Peas Patty! Nice Sichuan Marble (5/5) - Cheese Corn Balls tossed in spicy sauce but delicious Mexican Tacos (5/5) - Hard shell, Desi version Creaming Soda Float (3/5) - Average Four Seasons Pizza (3.5/5) - Definitely not the best I must say! 12 inch thin crust! Bell Peppers, Onions, Jalapenos and Olives Garlic Bread (4/5) - can't get this wrong! All-in-all a good outing. Had fun. Good serving size. Starters were served real quick when the restaurant was relatively empty, but mains took time.

The ambience is okay and decent, not too great not too bad. There is a seating area on entry and it has a first floor seating capacity too. For a huge group there is a dining area inside with a huge table capable of accomodating 12-15 guests with ease. Coming to the food, it was really very good both in quality and quantity. I loved their serving pans, every sabzi was served in that pan and it looked exciting too. The presentation was also good and neat. It deserves a 5-star in food. We tried both jain and regular varieties of various food items from soup to starters to main course and juices too. Their taste is fresh and natural with not too much of garam masala induced spicyness and the variants with paneer were the highlight!! Their paneer is sooo soft and fresh that it just melts in your mouth! We even ordered a pan of 'plain dahi' and it was very fresh, creamy and thickk!!! The cheese garlic naan was also very yummy but i've had better so it's not the best! Food items we ordered were- tomato soup, manchow soup, some jain paneer starter, chilli paneer starter, dum aloo sabzi, veg angara sabzi, jain veg makhmali, jain and regular paneer butter masala, butter kulchas, cheese garlic naan, plain dahi, plain papad, masala papad, watermelon mojitos, basil bliss mocktail, appletini, elder flower iced tea, cranberry cooler, pink lady float. Phew...'twas a long list to recollect!
Good for for vegetarian food. However I have limited knowledge in pure veg cuisine but I found the portion size good and the service was quick even on a weekend. The place is generally full and has a queue so best is to book beforehand to avoid waiting.
Visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Ordered for the below mentioned items - 1. Nachos - the nachos were okay. Nothing extraordinary. 2. Sichuan marbles - The cheese balls were really nice but the gravy was very dry. 3. Cottage cheese in 3 pepper sauce - The gravy was nice, but it's combination with the paneer made it bland. 4. 4 seasons pizza - The pizza was decent. Best amongst all the food items we had.
