La Maison Fontainhas, Goa, ama Stays & Trails - Villa in Panaji - North Goa, India

This was an absolutely atrocious and disgustingly sour experience. We were well aware that the restaurant was closed, but my partner had a dire emergency to use the washroom, and as far as I know, it's a basic legal requirement for women to access washrooms. It's beyond my comprehension how an IHCL property could exhibit such abysmal hospitality. The guy, who was clearly snoozing in the restaurant, was nothing short of obnoxiously rude and unceremoniously dismissed us.

A rare case where an IHCL property did not impress. Ama Trails is a new brand under IHCL, not sure how effective it will be in carrying forward Taj's legacy.

Nowhere a glimpse of being a IHCL property. Was very dejected with the overall check in experience, room amenities and to top it food. The breakfast inclusive rate doesn't give you enough breakfast quantity to suffice for a child's need. Never seen a hotel asking for one option of breakfast to be selected either indian or wearer and further limit the selection I.e. within Indian also either Puri or paratha or dosa. And then to top it only 4 Puris will be served. The staff is unapologetically rude here. I am not sure if any customer centricity values of IHCL are adopted here. Even worse than the very low budget hotels from customer service perspective... while prices of course aren't.. they are of course by no means even a one star

I have actually not stayed or dined from here, but one of my acquaintance did and he waz very happy with the place. The lobby is more like a lounge or cafe rather than a hotel lobby. There are some cool instagrammable spots in and around the place.

Nice hotel with nice rooms and staff are very polite. It is very nearer to busstand as well as the casinos. It is situated in the most beautiful photographic lane of fontainhas which u may have seen in instagram reels. Though they have limited breakfast options but it was nice. From my side i will give five star..

While the place itself is good and in a convenient part of Fontainhas, the restaurant has not been in operation for sometime and it was inconvenient in terms of grabbing a quick inhouse breakfast. The staff made arrangements from outside but it was not upto the standards. The staff could not even manage a good cup of coffee (which is an integral morning routine for most of us). Overall, good rooms but disappointing service and experience. Hope it gets better in the near future.

It is an upscale Taj property - only 3 star however and part of their Heritage stays. It has only 9 rooms on the first floor. The restaurant, bar, and lounge are on the ground floor. Very homely, but watch out for the alcohol prices! Old Monk Rum costs over 5k/bottle, so they are all 7 star rates! BYOB

Had a great Stay at La Maison. Very supportive staff. Gives you a good vibe of dutch/polish streets. One of picture spot in Goa.
