La Belle Vie - Home Stay in Bhimtal, Naukluchiatal - Nainital, India

Had the most amazing experience here. The place was beautiful, exactly like in the pictures. They had their own cooks on the property, so you can experience some delicious home cooked meal during your stay. The place was clean, quite and very near to the Naukuchiatal Lake. The staff on the property was very nice and helpful. It's a great place for a family/friend vacation.

The property is just average. There is no open space or living room and the bathrooms had insects(it was monsoon) but still not expected for the price paid. Though the owner has designed the property well, there is nothing great. No views or facilities for the price being paid. The breakfast options which is complimentary Is limited. Though the cook and caretakers are very helpful. The property is just two adjoint rooms on the first floor and the photos on n AirBnB are deceiving. The only saving grace being the distance to the lake.

I wish there were more than five stars to give. This place is just incredible - it's a beautiful house, very tastefully done up. The hospitality is next level - Maheshji is an amazing cook and serves up the most delicately flavoured dishes with ease. Young Abhishek is earnest and very helpful. If you want to be at home in the hills, this is the place. You cannot go wrong!

For everyone looking into this property let me tell you the reality. I stayed at this property the first week of July and my experience was absolutely pathetic. 1. I went with 7 of my friends and anyone going with friends should absolutely absolutely NOT consider going as the house rules are so so tight that the place is ONLY suitable for a nuclear family with children. 2. Mr. Rupam, the respectable owner of the house is absolutely disrespectful. We had quite a few complaints regarding the house at the end of day 1 and Mr Rupam simply offered us to leave his property ?!?! 3. The property has NO LIVING room just two adjoining rooms 4. Even though we booked the entire house and the staff lived next to the house we were constantly told by Toheed (house manager) that the food timings are fixed otherwise there would be no food not even for 30 mins. 5. Breakfast was included but upon reaching there we were told it is either 2 eggs or one paratha per person 6. The Wifi wasn't working and nothing was done about it. 7. The house manager Toheed kept instigating us and using obscene language for which we an investigation going on with Airbnb 8. The pictures are deceiving and the property has NO View of the lake as it is obstructed by trees. 9. On the positive, The chef and the help were very accommodating and made decent food So basically, the property is for people who just come back home to sleep. With no view there is really no point staying back..

Beautifully done up place. Very serene location. Amazing weather with ample sunshine,clear blue skies and fresh mountain air. Next to Naukuchiatal lake which is visible through the openings in line of trees. Amazing staff and very cooperative owner. Must visit with family. Can easily accommodate 3 families. 3 bedrooms with attached toilets. The lofts inside the two bedrooms on first floor will be an instant hit with younger ones. Tip: Contact owner directly via number provide ld on Google to get avoid AirBnB charges. Do ask for directions, Google map may trick you.

A cute little cosy place in the hills. House is nicely done. Care taker mahesh really took good care of us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food served was good. Mahesh made sure to serve piping hot food every time with hot hot paranthas/roties. Owner should mention on the website that the last 100 metres stretch to the house is unpaved narrow path and not suitable for big SUV's. Overall nice place for a sweet getaway.

Superb property, it's like a dream house. The owner of the property has designed the property himself. Everything is pictures perfect. Mahesh da and Pankaj take care of food during your stay, and I must say he cooks very tasty food. Very decent staff and caretaker. It's a must visit place with friends/ family. I had an amazing experience here with my family. Thanks to Rupam ji and his staff for the lovely experience.

Beautifully maintained, aesthetically and artistically decorated. Located in a very secluded place and very peaceful. If you are looking for a getaway from the busy buzz of metros and just chill, relax and recuperate this is the place to be. <br/>House cook Mahesh is excellent and serves home made lip smacking food. Manager Tauhid very welcoming and househelp kept the house clean n tidy. It's a home away from home.
