Kuttanad Restaurant - Seafood restaurant in Thuravoor Thekku - Alappuzha, India

We had ordered veg meals with Beef fry, chaala (sardine) , karimeen (pearl spot), ayala (mackerel) and omelette. The beef's preparation was really good, but the pieces could be better quality. All the fish we ordered were deep fried and extremely salty and ruined it's taste. Usually one would expect good quality seafood while traveling through Alappuzha, but that wasn't the case here. The veg accompaniments with the meals were really tasty. They also serve payasam as dessert. They also serve Sambar, moru and fish gravy to go along with the rice. The restaurant is not air-conditioned but has ample parking, really clean and well maintained.

Had fish curry meals and karimeen pollichathu. In the meals there were a lot of side dishes and all were unique and tasty, even though I ordered fish curry meals ,I liked the sambar more than the fish curry. I would recommend sambar over the fish curry. And in the case of karimeen pollichathu, it was ok, a little bit of salt and spiciness would make it more delicious. The ambience and the serving all were upto mark. I couldn't take the pic of karimeen pollichath as I have already started eating.

The food quality was good and the service could have been better. the overall atmosphere and the parking is actually good. You don't feel like you are so close to national highways

This is the best restaurant and must try. I liked every dish here especially non veg The prices are very friendly budget

Very bad food. Not recommended. Please avoid food from here. Expensive food with bad taste. Don't try the fish items also the non veg items. They don't know how to cook the food. Meals is ok.

Went for lunch here , I ordered a chicken biryani and my partner a fish meal and yea prawns roast ! All the pictures would do justice to the food, loved it in all ways ! Didn't have any complains as well . We were asked to sit in the AC family side of the restaurant and the owner was quite friendly and smiley ! All the staff were quite polite and kept serving the food as and when it was needed.

The best economic lunch experience offered at Thuravoor. Meals was really awesome. They offer good curries and the neymeen curry was topnotch ! You will get good meals at Rs110 and the fish curries price may vary as choice.

Located at NH. Very good ambience. Better If they could provide local cuisine instead of alfaham, mandi etc
