The municipality has started the work. This is a pre-independence ground in Kurla. Meetings under Sanyukt movement were held in this ground. Acharya Atre, Mahatma Gandhi has held meetings. Late Kaka Chavan, Prabhu Desai, Anil Galgali, Ajay Shukla, Sanjay Ghone, Vishwas Kamble and numerous citizens raised the fight. Therefore, the ground has been freed from encroachment.
Awesome playground for children as well as for adults. U will see the people mostly playing cricket, football, and kabaddi.
Also known as Rajmata Ahilyabai Holkar Garden or Kurla Lions Park. It's a wonderful and a silent garden, good for walking, jogging and exercising. There is a small playground where childrens can play football, cricket, etc with some playing stuffs. Garden is open (don't know the timing). Don't plan to visit now as there are some construction work going on from last couple of months, so the garden is closed till the work is completed.

A few years before it was renovated with some equipment for children's to play, seating for the parents as well as others. But now dur to non maintenance the garden again came into worst condition.
Very poor maintenance of the rides for kids... Toilets made were just for showing off...U can see state of art Toilet Ruins over there damaged by locals...No security for maintenance m protection from such acts
