kurapalli water falls /dam - Tourist attraction in Kurapalli - Visakhapatanam, India

This place is almost an Hours drive from Visakhapatnam. The route is correct on the map. But as the rains pickup, there is a bridge (more like a check damn, a big one). The locals use it for washing clothes. Trucks, bikes and big vehicles do pass through it in the rain also. But be careful, before you attempt in your vehicle. If not sure, dont cross, walk across and thereare autos who charge 10 rupees per head to reach the interested area. The auto ride is 5-7 mins. But walking would take you 25 mins. It was very hot when we went, ao we took an auto. Not this is not a waterfall. It is a big check damn. In the momsoon it is extremely unsafe to enter the water. Few people every year lose their life. Please do not risk yours. Carry eatables but do not throw plastic or bottles. Take your garbage wiht you. Coconut water shop available but thats about it. The area has few temples. Please maintain the sanctity and do not go if consumed alcohol. A good getaway and quiet place to spend a day.

This is good for photography. It is better to visit in rainy season. It is not good to see in summer. I have visited in summer so I am not satisfied the waterfalls. But the water is also not pure. Many people are interested to swim. But in summer season it is waste of time to visit. But it is far from kurapalli Village. We have to go far from remote area. Kurapalli water falls 3.5/5

Beautiful place, but if you don't know swimming don't enter into the water. Don't take children.

Very harmful place with lot of mossiness/water weeds.Too risky to walk because it was so slippery. It was a restricted place but no warning sign boards are available nearby. Police raids are going on and they are booking petty cases. Not a suggested place to visit.

I don't know even this place is existed.. I'm just amazed after my friend took me there.. all these years it's near to ky clg and i missed it.. Awesome place for anyone want to experience water flowing

Nice place to visit.. just for photography it is good.. non swimmer to be cautious.. and slippery also. After you parking vehicle.. it's a 5 mins walk..

Good place to visit but avoid visiting when there is too much water flow, this area is in accident zone now. Visit after flow decreases

Its a beautiful spot, but not kept officially a landmark. The rocks are quite slippery, so be careful when you visit, especially with children. but to sit and chill in the water is the best thing to do.
